Hey, remember that “Dog Soldiers” sequel that we first/last reported on, oh, about 3 years ago? Turns out it’s still very much alive, albeit still stuck in the very early stages. Not only is “Dog Soldiers 2″ (previously going under the subtitle “Dead Meat”) still alive and gestating, but the folks behind the franchise have created a web series called “Legacy” to, hopefully, tie you over until the sequel finally gets up and running. Producer David E. Allen and his Kismet Entertainment Group marked Halloween by launching specialty horror division Graveyard Filmworks. The new banner is expected to produce a series of low-budget horror flicks, the first of which will be Boo! -- scheduled to begin principal photography Dec. 1 in Los Angeles. The movie, written by Cinescape editor-in-chief Anthony C. Ferrante, who will make his directorial debut on the film, concerns a group of college kids who get trapped in a haunted hospital on Halloween night.
