Larry was a professional middleweight with 75 fights, of which he won 38 (16 by KO), lost 28 (9 by KO), and fought to 8 draws. On May 8, 1945, he lost his first professional match on points to "Kid" Lester at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. His final fight, on June 4, 1936, was won by him on a TKO against "Soldier" Larry Albert, at the Fort Hamilton Arena, Brooklyn, New York. In between he fought such boxers as Jackie "Kid" Berg in Brooklyn, N.Y. (1938), "Izzy" Jannazzo in Boston (1944), "Black Dynamite" Jack Chase in Hollywood (L.A.), California (1944), and Joe Agosta at Madison Square Garden, N.Y. (1944).
