It’s always interesting to see how her look changes, and Miley Cyrus opted for some bright hues in her hair on Saturday night (August 3).
The “Wrecking Ball” babe went out to dinner at Nobu restaurant with a few friends, showing off her neon-dyed braids and sporting a lacy white top and denim shorts.
Meanwhile, medium Melissa Bacelar told press that Miley consulted her following the death of her dog Floyd earlier this year.
“Floyd just wanted to let Miley know that there was nothing she could have done. That even if she was at home she couldn't have stopped it. He was just a free spirit, his life with her was amazing, she was a great mom to him. They always had a good time together. The coyote thing wasn't his favorite but he knew there was nothing he could do.”...

I always like taking a look at the indie horror scene. For instance, Zombie Ed from Brain Damage Films. It sounds like a slacker zombie comedy, basically. Read on the for the synopsis, links to buy, and the trailer.
Loser Ed has a lame job, a beater car, a crappy apartment and no hope of a girlfriend. Ed doesn’t think things could get any worse for him until the day he woke up and found he had Gone Zombie. Can Ed become the zombie he was born to be?
The film stars William C. Cutting, Kelly Petering, Trista Robinson, Myles Mclane, Melissa Bacelar, Kim Sønderholm, Pedro Mendoza, Tom Nyman, Marcus Proctor, and Devorah Lynne Dishington (name of the week nominee!).
Buy the DVD on Amazon or at Brain Damage’s website.

Halo-8 Entertainment has announced that Pop Skull will be its first "day and date" DVD/digital film release, timed with the official launch of Halo-8's VOD website Televandalism (in beta since 2008), which offers VOD-streaming subscriptions (all streaming titles for a total subscription of $.99 per month) or DVD-quality downloads ($9.99 each, with instructions for porting them to your TV) of films, comics, fitness/lifestyle videos, webisodes, and video games.
Pop Skull (review) will make its debut both on DVD and on Televandalism July 28, 2009. "Pop Skull is the kind of groundbreakingly different film that needs to be seen to be believed, so we want it seen by as many people as possible," said Halo-8 president Matt Pizzolo. "We know how our audience wants instant access to the newest coolest media, so we're very excited that Televandalism offers a way for us to get new films, comics, and games to our audience even...

Well, Shannon Lark's reign of Spooksmodel is coming to an end. We're sad. We like Shannon. She runs cool stuff like The Viscera Film Series, which we're sponsoring for eternity. But it's time for Fangoria to get a new Spooksmodel and there's a crapload of women vying for the role. You might recognize Melissa Bacelar or Jami Deadly (I know I do). But take a gander for yourself and vote for one of them. Winner gets 1,000 dollars to blow on meth and lots of free publicity. Winner announced at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles, April 17-19 2009. Vote for the new Fangoria Spooksmodel before March 30th.
And remember: It's never too late to start judging women.

Joining Heidi are Trent Haaga, Melissa Bacelar, Elissa Dowling, Noelle Balfour, Creep Creepersin, Matt Turek, and Demitriss Moore. The film was produced by Aine Leicht, Creep Creepersin, and Nikki Wall.

Over the past few months I think I've heard about the indie horror pic Pink Eye a few times, it must have been for a good reason as Halo-8 Entertainment has picked up worldwide rights to the gory horror flick, featuring the writer, director and star of Lionsgate's Skinned Alive.
