Pop singer Ariana Grande’s new music video for "The Boy Is Mine," from her latest album, “Eternal Sunshine”, sees her becoming ‘Catwoman’ in “a tale of obsession”:

A six-minute music video for Ariana Grande's latest single, "The Boy is Mine," has been released, and it finds the pop megastar channelling iconic Batman baddie/love interest, Catwoman.
The premise of the video focuses on You star Penn Badgley as the mayor of an unnamed city (we're guessing they couldn't call it Gotham), who decides to unleash an army of stray cats to rid the streets of a rat infestation. Grande plays a woman who is obsessed with the mayor and creates a love potion to make him fall for her.
Then, in a scene which appears to pay homage to Michelle Pfeiffer's Selina Kyle creating her costume in Tim Burton's Batman Returns, Grande dons a homemade Catwoman suit of her own and takes to the streets.
The tune is a single from Grande’s newest album, Eternal Eunshine, and samples Brandy and Monica's 1998 hit of the same name.

Penn Badgley goes from stalker to stalked in Ariana Grande’s music video, “the boy is mine.”
The You star and producer portrays the mayor of a city similar to New York, as it fights to end its growing rat problem by rounding up the local street cats and releasing them all at once to take down the rodents. Grande plays a city resident, obsessed with Badgley’s Max, creating a love potion to make him fall for her.
About halfway through the six-minute video, Grande is seen making and then wearing a Catwoman costume as she makes her way through the city to Max’s apartment. She uses her cat claws to carve a round hole in his window that she uses to enter his place.

Following the All That Jazz-influenced “Yes, And?” and the Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-inspired “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” Ariana Grande continues her streak of cinematic homages with the music video for “The Boy Is Mine,” the latest single from her seventh studio album, Eternal Sunshine.
Directed by Christian Breslauer (who also helmed the previous two clips), the widescreen visual finds Grande taking on Michelle Pfeiffer’s iconic role as Catwoman from Tim Burton’s 1992 blockbuster Batman Returns. The singer slinks around her apartment and along the city’s skyline with aplomb.
The video opens with a dig at New York’s history of mayoral misfits, with Gotham’s top official (You star Penn Badgley) getting dragged by local newscasters (Brandy and Monica) for the city’s rat infestation. Ariana Grande gives Penn Badgley a taste of his own You-style obsessive stalker medicine (crossed with a bit of Catwoman) in the new music video for her Eternal Sunshine track, “The Boy Is Mine.”
Directed by Christian Breslauer, the clip stars Badgley as Mayor Max Starling, an ambitious, young political hotshot who’s come up with a brilliantly stupid idea to solve the city’s rat problem — release a bunch of hungry stray cats to eat them. It’s been three months since Ariana Grande released her seventh studio album, eternal sunshine. In support of the LP, she stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night to perform the song “the boy is mine.” She followed that up on Friday morning by releasing a music video for the song.
Outfitted in a billowy black dress and a mask with cat ears reminiscent of her My Everything era, Grande gave a sleek performance showing off her massive pipes. After it was over, Fallon was characteristically over the moon. Watch a replay below.
In addition to being the musical guest, Grande sat opposite Fallon for a chat about eternal sunshine and expressed excitement for her role as Glinda in the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked, which will premiere on November 27th.

Ariana Grande returned to the The Tonight Show on Thursday to deliver a slick performance of “The Boy is Mine,” the single from her latest album, Eternal Sunshine.
Gliding across the stage, which was fashioned as a hazy rooftop, the singer and actress wore a glittering mask fixed with cat ears for the occasion. “The boy is mine/I can’t wait to try him/Let’s get intertwined/The stars, they aligned,” Grande sang, before echoing her claim: “The boy is mine/Watch me take my time.”

The stars seem to be aligning, not in the cosmos, but in the promotional campaign for Ariana Grande’s latest album Eternal Sunshine. Last week, the musician announced “The Boy Is Mine” as the third single from the project and set June 3 as the release date for its official music video. In the lead up, Grande has mostly kept details about the Christian Breslauer-directed visual under wraps, while also hinting that not only is the boy hers, he might also be Penn Badgley.

One year ago, it was announced that the Netflix streaming service had renewed the serial killer thriller series You for a fifth season, which will also be the final one. We know Penn Badgley is coming back for You season 5 as the lead character Joe Goldberg, and it’s probably a good bet that season 4’s Charlotte Ritchie will continue to have a prominent role in this final season. It has previously been announced that Madeline Brewer of The Handmaid’s Tale will have a series regular role in the new batch of episodes, and now Variety has broken the news that Anna Camp of the Pitch Perfect films and Griffin Matthews of The Flight Attendant have also been cast in series regular roles.
Camp will actually be playing two different characters, as she has been cast as both Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, twin sisters-in-law to Joe Goldberg. Here are their descriptions: “Raegan is the cunning,...

As a spin-off from such hits as The Good Wife and The Good Fight, Elsbeth was set up for a successful start. However, it's the charm of lead actress Carrie Preston and the twisted mysteries she solves that keep people coming back for more. Though repetitive due to its formula, the show is highly entertaining and has kept many fans coming back for more.
While many viewers are hoping and praying for the second season so the show can have more creative freedom and add some variety to the stories, others are happy with what they're getting. Especially since Elsbeth isn't afraid to reference a show or two to make things more interesting for the most attentive fans.

You'd think that in an episode centered around a bar and its owner, Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 9 would have some sort of death by the drink, but in this episode, the murderer went with an oldie but a classic.
In "Sweet Justice," audiences meet Joe, the owner of an exclusive high-end bar who decides to take justice into his own hands by murdering one of his patron's bullies.
It would almost be sweet if his form of justice didn't involve homicide, oh, and killing the wrong woman.
Gracing the small screen this week for yet another familiar face is Arian Moayed.
Surprisingly, he did not already appear in The Good Wife or The Good Fight, but viewers might recognize him from Succession.
As for his character, anyone who frequents Netflix might notice some similarities between this Joe and another who also enjoys stalking women who have caught his eye in a little show called "You.

Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) is a touch defensive as he ushers us into You Season 4. After leaving a trail of devastation across America, he swears he’s going to lay low and avoid romance in his new home of London. Joe’s new mantra is “No love. No people. Just books.” Then he looks out his window and his resolve to be an introvert is gone. All that remains is his crush on Kate Galvin, portrayed by Feel Good dream girl Charlotte Ritchie.
In Part 1, their complicated attraction blossoms. On the one hand, Joe’s hunt for the Eat the Rich Killer is keeping them apart. But, Kate’s own standoffishness and suspicion is its own romantic obstacle. “I had a feeling that there was something deeper in her,” Ritchie tells Tudum. “There’s something in her hatefulness that is so self-hating. It feels very much like it’s a...

Emma Stone is an iconic actress who has starred in some iconic filmography over the years in Hollywood. From Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man franchise to Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, Stone has found quite a status for herself.
However, the case wasn’t true in 2010 when she starred in a film titled Easy A. Being a story about a girl lying about losing her virginity to a college guy, the film narrates how easy it is for lies to spread and create something entirely different. Before she starred in that role, however, Emma Stone had her doubts about the film.

“John Tucker Must Die” is being resurrected.
The beloved high school rom-com that had a Shakespearean revenge premise is getting the delayed-sequel treatment, according to one the original film’s stars Arielle Kebbel. She’ll not just reprise her role of Carrie in this one, but also produce.
“John Tucker Must Die” centered around a philandering popular jock (Jesse Metcalfe) whose series of girlfriends devise a plan to turn the heartbreak tables around on him. Enter: Brittany Snow. The 2006 film also starred Sophia Bush, Penn Badgley, and the singer Ashanti. It was directed by Betty Thomas.
John Tucker, who definitely ain’t dead yet, may even get a redemption arc in this one.

One year ago, it was announced that the Netflix streaming service had renewed the serial killer thriller series You for a fifth season, which will also be the final one. While executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter said that You was always intended to be a “five season journey”, showrunner Sera Gamble decided not to guide the journey to its conclusion. Although she remains attached as an executive producer, she has passed showrunner duties over to fellow executive producers Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo. Thankfully, Foley and Lo are no strangers to You. They have been working on the series since season 1 and season 2, respectively. Now You season 5 is gearing up for production, and Deadline reports that Madeline Brewer – whose credits include The Handmaid’s Tale, Orange Is the New Black, and the horror film Cam – has joined the cast.
