As kids and adults alike, millions of people dream of becoming movie stars. For some actors who make it, though, success on the big screen isn’t everything it’s built up to be. And while most still choose to stay, some stars leave Hollywood to pursue other careers. One such example is Charlie Korsmo, who played the son of Robin Williams’ character in Hook.
Korsmo’s face may be familiar to those who grew up in the 90s. The child star also appeared in movies like Dick Tracy. However, the actor’s career in Hollywood was short-lived, retiring from acting at a young age. Instead, Korsmo pursued a career in academia and is now a successful law professor.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features eight matches this week. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir def. Sandra Moone and J-Rod
My Thoughts: Well this was an interesting surprise. I expected a squash but no, Rose and Shafir let their opponents put some work in and this came off as more competitive than even the patented Aew “quasi-squash”. Great start to this week’s show!
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Cage def. Rob McKnight
My Thoughts: Now This was a squash match! Everything Rob McKnight tried to do was totally no-sold by Cage, who eventually trapped McKnight in the King Kong Clutch for the win.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Juice Robinson def. Titus Alexander
My Thoughts: Much like the first match on this show,...

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week was apparently taped around an episode of Rampage so we get a decent crowd and bigger names on the card. Let’s join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, and see what this week’s Eight matches have in store… Those match counts are getting bigger and bigger the further we get from Double or Nothing.
Match #1: Qt Marshall def. Alan Angels
My Thoughts: Wtf?! We closed this week’s Elevation with Dark Order versus The Factory and open this week’s Dark with Alan Angels versus Qt Marshall… Running out of ideas much? I’m really starting to wonder what the hell the plan is, if there is a plan, with these recurring Dark Order/The Factory matches? Feuding on YouTube shows but not referencing them outside of YouTube. Hell, I’m expecting to see both teams start...

Charlie Korsmo is one of those individuals that went into show business at a young age and still managed to get out, for the most part, when he was still pretty young since he was only in from 1990 to 1998, long enough to have a few memorable roles but not much else. Obviously as you can guess, one of his biggest and most noted roles was as Jack Banning in the Peter Pan adaptation Hook, which starred Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman along with a few other noted celebrities. Jack was pretty much the scamp in every way possible
