- Muggsy ranks as the Charlotte Hornets all-time leader in assists, steals, and minutes played.
- One of the fastest and hardest working players in the NBA ( not to mention the shortest) plays for the Charlotte Hornets and attended Wake Forest University.
- After playing just 2 games into the 1997-1998 season for the Charlotte Hornets, Muggsy was traded by the Hornets along with Tony Delk to the Golden State Warriors for B.J. Armstrong on November 7th, 1997.
- Selected by the Washington Bullets with the 12th overall pick in the 1987 NBA draft. He played in 79 games during the 1987-1988 season for the Bullets and started in 14 of them.
- Played basketball at Wake Forest University, 1983-1987.
- Played professional basketball for 13 years in the NBA for the Washington Bullets (1987-1988), Charlotte Hornets (1988-1997), Golden State Warriors (1997-1999), and Toronto Raptors (1999-2001). Traded to the New York Knicks in 2001, but never played for them because of injuries.
- The Washington Bullets then left Bogues unprotected in the 1988 NBA expansion draft and he was taken by the Hornets.
