Harry Styles fans don’t miss a thing.
The One Direction hitmaker has been wearing his usual Adidas x Gucci Gazelles while travelling the world with his “Love On Tour” shows.
However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that before Adidas cut ties with Kanye West on Tuesday morning, Styles switched his shoes for a pair of Vans at his Kia Forum concert in Inglewood, California on Monday.
Gig-goers noticed the swap and praised the singer and his stylist Harry Lambert.
Thank you @harry_styles and @harry__lambert for going with Vans last night instead of @adidas. We see your decision, and it means so much to me and all your other Jewish fans, and those who stand with us against antisemitism in all its forms

With a misleading trailer, a cool poster, and a title that capitalizes on the recent spate of witchcraft-associated horror hits but whose connection to the actual film is tenuous at best, many viewers are bound to be disappointed by Witches in the Woods, the latest from writer Christopher Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes) and director Jordan Barker (Torment).
I admittedly came away a little disillusioned myself, but upon further reflection I concluded that Witches in the Woods is a solid – albeit flawed – horror flick about deteriorating group dynamics when faced with the rising tension of being stranded in the cold and snowy wilderness.

I absolutely love films, in particular, horror films that have scenes that involve a lot of snow. Or, even better, if like Witches In The Woods, have a setting that is entirely snow-covered. Maybe it’s my love of Christmas and movies based around that holiday season or maybe it’s just how beautiful landscapes and nature look when covered with the white stuff. Or maybe it’s because when blood is sprayed or dripped on to snow, it looks really really cool. Whatever it is, I know I am going to enjoy a movie a little bit more if snow is featured heavily.

Another horror film is set in another insane asylum. This time, the film is titled Eloise. The film is from director Robert Legato and writer Christopher Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes). Eloise joins a long list of horror films set in mental health institutions, including: Session 9 (2001), Psych 9 (2010), Blackburn (2015), and dozens of others. This time, the film was shot in one of the largest institutions, the Eloise Insane Asylum. Involving a death certificate and a large inheritance, the film's first trailer shows four friends, attacked by the hospital's supernatural past. The film hosts a recognizable cast. Eliza Dushku and Robert Patrick both star in this 2017 release. Dushku has appeared in several horror films, such as the cannibal thriller Wrong Turn (2003) and Open Graves (2009), while Patrick has starred in the recent Hellions (2015). The film hosts a large cast, which also includes: Chace Crawford and Nicole Forester. Fans of horror can see this diverse cast in early.

Daniel’s directorial career also covered films such as Like Father Like Son, K-9, Home Alone 4 and Beethoven’s 2nd. He notably was quite dismissive of his own work in a later interview he gave, telling reporter Christopher Borrelli that “I hold no illusions. I wouldn’t buy a ticket to any of my movies”.
“It's going to sound like a cop-out, but when I retired, I never once thought about it. Does that answer your question? I don't rank with the greats. I made these [expletive] movies because I could, and because they paid me a great deal of money. Which is not to say I...

Mark Neveldine, best known for his wild collaborations with Brian Taylor (Crank/Gamer), is one of the most lovably renegade filmmakers in the game today. His daredevil dedication to achieving the perfect shot has been detailed by curious paparazzi members on numerous occasions, because when you see a director holding onto a motorcycle while wearing rollerblades, you tend to get a little curious. But his latest film, The Vatican Tapes, is a solo departure from those typically outrageous action stylings. There’s no need for high-speed filming techniques in this barely-found-footage exorcism thriller, as this religious shocker calls for a much more restrained lens. Possession plotlines require a low-and-slow handling – something Neveldine isn’t exactly used to doing.

When the Vatican brings out the heavy artillery and officially sends two priests to handle an exorcism, you know they mean business… and so does the demon they’ve been sent to face. Say it ain't so! For better or worse, it appears that the directing duo known as Neveldine/Taylor have decided to go their separate ways, each branching out to direct a movie on their own. Fortunately, this does not appear to be a result of a disagreement or falling out but rather a desire to try something new and potentially grow as filmmakers. Last year we learned that Brian Taylor would be writing and directing a Twisted Metal movie for Sony based on the popular video game series. While that makes a lot of sense based on his experience with insane action movies like the Crank series, Mark Neveldine's own solo effort is a little more surprising. It has been over three years since we've heard of any developments on The Vatican Tapes . Said to be in the vein of The Exorcist and Rosemary's Baby , the film was originally going to be directed by James Marsh ( Man on a Wire ). Lakeshore has found a new helmer to take on the project, however. According to Variety , Mark Neveldine has been brought aboard. Neveldine is going solo in the director's chair this time after co-directing the "Crank" films, Gamer and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance with Brian Taylor. The story centers on a series of events that unfold after a tape gets leaked from the Vatican displaying an exorcism that goes wrong. Christopher Borrelli scripted the film.

This isn’t too surprising. Deadline Hollywood reports that Mikael Håfström, director of horror-tinged flicks like 1408 and The Rite, will be at the helm of Wake for Hammer Films. The film will more or less be a present-day interpretation of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Christopher Borrelli is on board for screenwriting duties.

The cinematic treatment of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde has been varied. Fredric March’s benchmark portrayal of the character in 1931 remains the high water mark, though Spencer Tracy has tried his hand at it and the less said about 1995′s Dr Jekyll & Ms Hyde the better. The main point here is that it has been a really long time since the story was told well on the big screen. Cameos for Jekyll & Hyde in Lxg and Van Helsing did what is a fascinating and complex character scant justice and so Hammer Films enter the fray.
Off the back of Let Me In, The Resident, Wakewood and The Woman In Black, Hammer are now eying a remake of the Jekyll & Hyde tale, currently working with the title “Wake”. Such an unarresting title seems an odd choice, given how well known the name Jekyll is, but to each their own.

Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom just can’t stop giving into the desire to direct horror movies, it would seem. For though he has alternated between scare fests and more straightforward thrillers like Derailed, he keeps coming back to supernatural tales of terror. His last film was exorcism chiller The Rite and now he’s signed on to make a new movie for Hammer Films called Wake. Not much is known about the plot right now, but The Wrap reports that it’ll feature a modern day take on Jekyll and Hyde and will feature a character that shoves the boundaries and, more importantly, feels no fear. Much like every iteration of Robert Louis Stevenson’s tale, we’re guessing this leads to some very bad things happening. The Vatican Tapes’ Christopher Borrelli dreamed up the concept originally, but Hafstrom will work from a new draft of the script cranked out...

Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom is set to direct a new horror thriller for Hammer Films called Wake, which is described "a modern day Jekyll and Hyde who knows no bounds." Hammer is making a comeback, they have been making gothic style horror films since 1934. In their later years they started making Sci-fi, thrillers, Film Noir and even comedies. During the 60's and 70's Hammer dominated the Horror film market, then in the 80's they kind of disappeared. The production company made they're return with the remake of Let Me In, and now it looks like they have found life again.
Hafstrom has directed films such as the Stephen King adaptation of 1408, which I really enjoyed. He also directed the Anthony Hopkins film The Rite, which turned out better than I expected. Christopher Borrelli screenwriter of The Vatican Tapes wrote the screenplay for Wake, and a rewrite came from Deepwater Horizon screenwriter Matt Sand.

There have been countless Jekyll and Hyde film projects over the years, though it has been years since a studio has mounted a legitimate telling of the timeless identity-crisis tale. And no, the 2001 endeavor Jekyl and Hyde: The Musical with David Hasselhoff doesn.t count. But the good folks at Hammer Films reportedly are set to produce and finance a modern-day retelling of the Jekyl and Hyde myth with Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom at the helm, as reported by Deadline. The thriller will be called Wake, though little else about the project is known at this point. Deadline says the screenwriters for the Hyde project will be Christopher Borrelli and Matt Sand. The former penned The Vatican Tapes, which ScriptShadow says is another exorcism drama, while the latter worked on Deepwater Horizon, a film centered around the oil-rig disaster that occurred in the Gulf of Mexico. As for Hafstrom, he...

Here are a couple small reports about new projects that have just attached directors. We don't have a great deal of info about either one, but as we expect to be following up on these soon we'll give you the early rundown now. First, Niels Arden Oplev, who made the original Swedish version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, is now set to direct Game Theory for Summit. The film is written by Michael Alan Lerner, and is about "a college professor and game theorist who gets sucked into a large-scale global crisis." Serious stuff! Maybe. The director has been on the verge of breaking into Us films since the runaway success of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, but the two films he has been attached to (The Keep and The Last Photograph) haven't really moved forward yet. He has done the pilot for the CBS show The Rememberer,...

After an absence in show business since the 1980's, Hammer Films made a big return with Let Me In, the surprisingl fantastic American adaptation of the Swedish film and novel Let the Right One In. Early next year we'll also see their release of The Woman in Black which will mark Harry Potter franchise star Daniel Radcliffe's first screen appearance following the end of the successful wizarding franchise. Now Hammer Films continues to march forward with their announcement that The Rite and 1408 director Mikael Håfström will direct a new thriller called Wake from Christopher Borrelli, writer of The Vatican Tapes. Hammer Films sets up the film like this: 3% of all men are considered sociopaths, lacking concern for the well being of others or for the consequences of their actions. 1% of all men are born without the emotional capability to experience fear. At any given time there are tons of horror scripts circulating in Hollywood waiting for a home. And lately, in the journalism game, it has become fashionable to get the word out about some of these scripts - even though they might not ever get bought or even made. Regardless, I find it fascinating to see what's out there, especially in a climate where familiarity sells (remakes) and sequels remain profitable. So, welcome to "On the Horror Market" - an occasional column where we'll look at what's out there. For previous editions of this column click here and here . Now, a look at two recent thrillers that hit the streets... Christopher Borrelli is shopping around a new script called Sleepwalker . James Marsh, the Oscar winning director of Man On Wire, is set to tackle the supernatural in his next film, a thriller entitled The Vatican Tapes. The story surrounds a series of events that follow after the release of a leaked tape from the Vatican, showing an exorcism going horribly wrong.
Marsh, who proved his abilities as a narrative storyteller with his heist styled Man On Wire doc, has decided to make the leap into feature films. The Vatican Tapes follows on the heels of Marsh's newest feature, Red Riding: 1980, the second installment in the highly praised British crime trilogy. It was only recently that Marsh first tasted the fictional feature world with a small indie pic called The King starring Gael García Bernal.
Christopher Borrelli, writer of the straight-to-dvd film The Marine 2 has signed on to pen the script.

Before his 2008 doc Man on Wire, James Marsh also directed a little-seen feature starring Gael Garcia Bernal, The King. He's also been busy recently with Red Riding: 1980, the second film in the much-lauded British crime trilogy. Now he's taking another stab at feature films with the supernatural thriller, The Vatican Tapes. The film concerns the events that occur after a tape featuring an exorcism gone horribly wrong gets leaked from the Vatican. The script comes courtesy of Christopher Borrelli (The Marine 2). I haven't yet seen The King, or Red Riding:1980, but it was evident from Man on Wire that Marsh was a helluva storyteller. I only wish that his next project was a heist film of some sort. The heist-esque narrative of Man on Wire was one of the most remarkable aspects of the film to me, and it would have been great to see him finally get...
