Blue-eyed beauty who studied at Berkeley and entered films at the age of 26. Had the curious habit of frequently changing her surname, making appearances as Sheila Fulton, Sheila Mannors (or Manners) or Sheila Manners-Bromley.
Voted "Miss California" in January, 1929.
She is a direct descendant of the De La Guerras, a well-known California pioneer family.
Over the years, she used many names: Sheila La Gae (Miss California), Sheila LeGay, Sheila Mannors, Sheila Manners, Sheila Manors--before she settled on Sheila Bromley in 1936.
