- Steve Broussard was born in Abbeville, Louisiana. He moved with his parents to the New Orleans area in Port Sulphur and Braithwaite in the mid fifties & early sixties, then back to Abbeville. Graduating from Abbbevile High School in 1969 & then graduating from The University of Southwestern Louisiana (now called University of Louisiana Lafayette) in 1973 with a B.A. in City & Regional Planning. Moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to 2001. Have been a professional radio announcer & disc jockey since 1971. Studied acting at American Film Institute. Did theater at the Globe in West Hollywood. Did voice-over work in the Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie on CBS "Old Man" about the 1927 flood, spoke Cajun French.
