It may be funnier and more spiritual than "NCIS," but "Bones" is a police procedural at the end of the day — and procedural television implies a formula. With "Bones," that formula centered around a team of investigators led by forensic antropologist Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and FBI agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), who solve murder cases by finding clues in human remains. That said, the show was willing to experiment within the confines of this procedure — when a show runs for 12 seasons, it has to. For the 200th episode, "The 200th in the 10th," "Bones" threw its characters into a 1950s-set homage to Alfred Hitchcock films.
The show broke the formula even earlier for its 150th episode — "The Ghost in the Machine." In this episode, the team finds the skeleton of teenage boy Colin Gibson (Cameron DeFaria), which has been decomposing for two years, and solves his murder.

TV Fanatic had the opportunity to speak with the lovely Meaghan Rath, who starred in Accused Season 1 Episode 12.
"Morgan's Story" was intensely suspenseful and intriguing, and we got to speak to her about how she approached the character and her opinion on that cliffhanger ending.
Check out the full interview below.
Hello Meaghan, I have to fan-girl for one moment. I remember watching you on Being Human, and you were so great on that show. I remember those moments when I lived for the vampire, the ghost, and the werewolf!
Wonderful. Thank you. That's always so nice to hear. Because that show meant so much to me, too, so I love it as much as you do.
I've been following this show, and most of the episodes have been very heavy, tackling some controversial social issues -- some that we speak about loudly and others we don't.

The project comes from 24 executive producers Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and House creator/executive producer David Shore.
Developed by Gordon and co-produced by Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, Accused is based on the BBC’s BAFTA-winning crime anthology. It opens in a courtroom on the accused, with viewers knowing nothing about their crime or how they ended up on trial. Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on ABC
Warning: This review contains major spoilers this episode of Agents of Shield.
The best way to sum up “The Things We Bury” is Grant’s observation that, “Nothing stays buried forever,” and wow, this episode finds some dark stuff buried in the past. Hydra’s human experimentation in Nazi Germany, Grant’s troubled family history, and what exactly happened to Skye’s mother is all revealed in full, gory detail. Agents of Shield is generally a family-friendly show, but “The Things We Bury” is violent and disturbing in a way that audiences have not seen before. It also might be the best episode of season two.

One of the best things about this event series version of 24 is that the narrative is more tightly scripted. With 12 episodes instead of 24, there is no room for fluff. There hasn’t been much of it so far, and the producers have been able to keep the tension high almost the entire way. It’s also difficult at this stage in the game for it to spring genuine surprises.
So it is very satisfying to see the unexpected return of a man who has had such an impact on both Jack’s and Audrey’s lives in the past: Cheng. He’s a true villain, unrelenting in his aggression and with zero dissension in his ranks. This makes any goal he sets out to achieve,...

Written by Brent Fletcher
Directed by Milan Cheylov
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm Est on ABC
In the aftermath of Shield’s destruction, Agents of Shield splits “Providence” between the remaining members of Coulson’s team trying to figure out what is next and Ward and Garrett heading off to the Fridge for evil plotting and mustache-twirling. At first, Coulson wants to go completely off the grid, but he rethinks this plan when he discovers glowing coordinates on his Shield badge. He believes the coordinates are a clue from Fury himself as to where to go and how to find him. May, however, thinks that Coulson isn’t thinking clearly in the aftermath of Shield’s demise, and she worries that his decisions are putting everyone else in danger.
“Turn, Turn, Turn” and Captain America: Winter Soldier are both action-heavy, but “Providence” is more about the laughs.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 1, Episode 3: “The Asset”
Directed by Milan Cheylov
Written by Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen
Airs on Tuesdays at 8 Pm Et on ABC
When you go back and watch Marvel’s “Phase One” films (Iron Man to The Avengers), these are all films that excel in being particularly goofy and silly. That’s just Marvel’s schtick. They’re good at it. Their golden boy, Joss Whedon, has always had a talent for the same thing. A Whedon film or TV show can be picked out of a line up for that very reason. There’s simply a certain feel to his (and Marvel’s) work. It’s only logical that the jump from movies to TV on Marvel’s part would mirror that same aspect. What doesn’t work for Marvel, however, is the melodrama created by Skye’s (Chloe Bennet) character.

Once Upon A Time, Season 2, Episode 19: “Lacey”
Written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz
Directed by Milan Cheylov
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
Once Upon a Time returned after a four week hiatus and the train shot out of the station within the first few minutes. The opening scene was intense to say the least. It involved Rumplestiltskin turning Henry into glass and then smashing him into little pieces. Thankfully Rumplestiltskin shot up in bed mere seconds later and the whole part was revealed to be a dream.
After the interesting and somewhat disturbing opening the writers take us into full gear. We come to find out that the episode is actually going to switch it up and be very Belle centric. This is a good thing, especially since the show bumped Emilie de Ravin up to series regular and then shoved her into a hospital bed for half of the season.

When a beloved television show ends, one of the burning questions that remains is: When will you see your favorite stars again? In the case of Vik Sahay, that is tonight. In tonight’s episode of Bones, “The Twist in the Plot, Vik guest-stars as a business partner of the murder victim. In a recent exclusive interview Vik shared what it was like working on Bones and an upcoming episode of NCIS, as well as his new comedy series Satisfaction. He also gave a fun shout-out to Chuck and his glory days as one-half of the musical group known as Jeffster!
What’s the story about how you came to work on tonight’s episode of Bones?
Vik: I shot Bones in the Fall after sort of taking the Summer off. It was just such a refreshing way to step back on set. I play a green entrepreneur in the...

Once Upon a Time, Season 2, Episode 12: “In The Name of the Brother”
Written by Jane Espenson
Directed by Milan Cheylov
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
We find chaos is in full effect when we venture into Storybrooke this week. Belle, having crossed the town line, is freaking out at Rumpelstiltskin. Hook, even with broken bones, is being his cocky self. And lastly, there is the stranger that pummeled across the town line, causing even more chaos.
After getting past the first intense minutes of the show we kick of the episode we get into a flashback. This episode’s past is going to be strictly focused on Dr. Whale, or as he is more commonly known, Dr. Frankenstein, and none other than Rumpelstiltskin (who is creeping around in Dr. Frankenstein’s world). It is fun to see the writers touch on other classic tales that aren’t,...

Continuing our penchant for highlighting press releases that cut through the clutter comes a few choice words from executive producer Hart Hanson, who is about to give fans even more of a reason to get excited for Bones’ 150th episode airing this Monday December 3rd on Fox (GlobalTV in Canada). See for yourself, after the jump.
Dear Critics, Twitics and Bloggers…
On Monday, Dec. 3 (8:00-9:00 Pm Et/Pt) on Fox, Bones will broadcast its 150th episode. I know, we find it hard to believe, too. In celebration, we decided to shoot an episode which is markedly different from the 149 episodes which came before it and which got us to this benchmark in the first place – which may sound foolhardy but seemed apropos at the time.
The episode, entitled “The Ghost in the Machine,” is unlike any Bones episode which precedes it, in that it is told from the...

Once Upon A Time, Season 2, Episode 2: “Lady of the Lake”

Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
The third episode in season two of Once Upon a Time starts off with yet another punch. Opening in the past fairytale world, we find Red, Snow, Charming, and several others preparing for a battle against King George. The brief opening takes little time ushering in Sinqua Walls as Lancelot (who does a fantastic job throughout the episode). After he captures Snow, we jump to present day in the fairytale world.
We now pick up where we were left off last week: Snow unconscious on the ground and the delightful Barbara Hershey back as the wicked Cora. It’s fun to watch Ginnifer Goodwin come into mother mode. She’s no longer the quiet school teacher Mary Margaret. Her return to...

Once Upon A Time, Season 1, Episode 12: “Skin Deep”
Written by Jane Espensen
Directed by Milan Cheylov
Airs Sundays at 8pm (Et) on ABC
Storybrooke and the fairy-tale world blur together more concretely in “Skin Deep,” a Gold/Rumpelstiltskin-centric episode that bases itself in the “Beauty and The Beast” story. In the Enchanted Forest, Rumpelstiltskin takes Belle (Emilie de Ravin of Lost fame) as part of a deal made with her father and soon becomes taken with her pure and heroic nature. In Storybrooke, Mr. Gold settles a debt with an irate florist, who in turn robs his home. Mr. Gold tracks down this florist, who is also Belle’s father in the other world, to find a missing item, but Emma is quick on his heels to see what Gold is really up to.
“Skin Deep” takes Rumpelstiltskin’s story to unexpected, yet gratifying, places in this tweaked version of “Beauty and The Beast.

Not only is Season 7 of "24" strides better than its lackluster sixth season, but I'm starting to believe it ranks higher than many of the earlier worst days of Jack Bauer's life. It was another intense hour from 5Pm to 6Pm and, as predicted, Dubaku's time was up. The Sengalan general was finally captured when his naive girlfriend Marika cause their car to spill out. And with Dubaku captured, the whole operation became a house of cards, incriminating everyone federal that was caught up in the terrorist shenanagins. This meant that resident jerk in the FBI, Sean Hillinger, as outed and captured as the FBI's mole. But low and behold, yet another threat lingers. Props go out to director Milan Cheylov, who created that awesome scene at the end where Jack and Tony were solemnly discussing General Juma's new plan. But the best news of all is that we're going to...
