Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, hip hop duo Twiztid always wears their love for the horror genre loud and proud, and we’re excited to exclusively reveal this morning that both Madrox and Monoxide have now been officially turned into Pop! vinyl toys by Funko!
Funko tells Bloody Disgusting, “Jam out with this Pop! Rocks 2-pack featuring Pop! Madrox and Pop! Monoxide. Vinyl figures are approximately 4.1 to 4.25-inches tall.”
The toys are being announced as part of “Popapalooza” (also styled as Pop!apalooza), a music-themed virtual event in which Funko reveals new collectibles inspired by popular singers and bands. Popapalooza celebrates the newest products in music collectibles! Funko continues to invest in the music vertical with Pop! Rocks, Pop! Albums, Gold and most recently, announced a co-branded retail store with Snoop Dogg, ‘Tha Dogg House’ that will open in early 2023.

The IP pipeline connecting the comic book sector to Hollywood continues to pump at a robust pace (and superhero movies now account for 10 of the top 25 highest-grossing films of all time) but the flow isn’t entirely a single-direction one.
Last summer, I wrote up a roll call round-up about the parade of Hollywood types (J.J. Abrams and John Carpenter among them) who have dipped into the world of comic books and graphic novels as visiting creative talent.
Today, a follow-up with new batch of show-biz citizens playing tourist in the vivid landscape of comics: Jack Black, Jay Baruchel, and Twiztid, the venerable Detroit hip-hop duo. Let’s take them in reverse order…

The guys touring with Insane Clown Posse -- who were arrested last night for marijuana possession -- not only maintain they are innocent ... they claim they were set up! As TMZ first reported, Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric (better known as the rap duo Twiztid ) and Chris Rouleau (who raps under the name Blaze ) were all busted for felony marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Three rappers currently on tour with the Insane Clown Posse were arrested in Tampa, Fl yesterday and each charged with felony possession of marijuana ... TMZ has learned. From left to right ... Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric (better known as the rap duo Twiztid ) and Chris Rouleau (who raps under the name Blaze ) were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. All three posed for mug shots ... sans their infamous make-up. They were each released this morning on $2,500 bond.

Horrorcore band Twiztid, comprised of Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, aka Jamie Madrox and Monoxide, have just released their tour schedule for spring 2010.
The infamous duo released their seventh studio album W.I.C.K.E.D. (Wish I Could Kill Every Day) last year, and it was the group's highest charting album to date, peaking at #11 on the Billboard 200. The album is also the third highest charting album in Psychopathic Records history, beaten only by label mates Icp's The Amazing Jeckel Brothers and the recently released Bang! Pow! Boom!
