attending college.

since won every major mystery honor, including the Anthony and the
Macavity Award for "Blood Work".
He was 20 when he decided he wanted to be a writer.
Lives with his wife and daughter in Florida.
After graduation, he covered the crime beat at newspapers in Daytona
Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
Graduated from the University of Florida, where he majored in
journalism and minored in creative writing.
