Dark Window Films are nearing the end of their shoot on a drama/documentary about James Connolly and are currently in pre-production on horror film 'Loftus Hall'. 'James Connolly' written by Margaret Avinet & Philip Connolly, is directed by Francis Strickland and produced by Michael Parle, Kathy Horgan and Lisa Popplewell (also D.O.P.) The documentary/drama shot on location in Wexford features a cast of actors playing historical figures including Tom O'Donoghue (James Connolly), Emma Eliza Regan (Nora Connolly), Michael Parle (Major Overton) and Irene Wright (Lilly Connolly). Shooting began in June for a period of two weeks, with the final week of filming to take place in July/August. Jackie Galvin is set to edit with Una O'Dowd.
