From award-winning director James Erskine and producer Victoria Gregory comes this new, critically-acclaimed feature about the figure skating legend. Based on the book by Bill Jones and narrated by Freddie Fox, a story of art, sport, sexuality, and rebellion.
Watch any figure skating and it falls into two camps: before and after John Curry. From what was a macho, technical sport whose judges punished deviation, blossomed – through Curry’s stubborn beauty – ice-dancing. Featuring incredible unseen footage of some of his most remarkable performances, and with access to Curry’s letters and archive interviews, as well as contributions from former British skating champions Robin Cousins and Lorna Brown, legendary coach Christa Fassi, and interviews with his family, friends and collaborators, this is a portrait of the man who turned ice-skating...

Seaman and his partner Frankie Poultney received the lowest number of public votes, meaning they left the competition straight away.
Gary Lucy and partner Katie Stainsby then had to battle it out in the skate-off with Sam Attwater and Vicky Ogden to decide who remained in the show.
Lucy skated to Daughtry's 'What About Now', while Attwater performed a Riverdance for their Save Me Skate.
Three judges voted to save Attwater, meaning that he will be back to skate again.
Head judge Robin Cousins added that he would also have voted to save Attwater.

The Dancing on Ice judges have admitted that they couldn't care less about the contestants' back stories.
Speaking at the show's launch yesterday, Karen Barber revealed that it will be the "hardest series" to judge but agreed with Robin Cousins that David Seaman and Sam Attwater being engaged to their professional partners will not affect their comments at all.
"Chemistry's great, but you don't have to be engaged to have chemistry with your partner," she said. "We do have couples who are engaged and couples that hopefully will be married soon and that's lovely, but that's not going to affect my opinion of their performance.
"It's that couple that engage me and that deliver a performance that's polished and that's confident."
Barber also vowed to ignore the All-Star contestants' first series, saying: "You've got to wipe the slate clean, because otherwise that makes it even more difficult, more complicated. You...

The Dancing on Ice judges have admitted it's possible that one of the show's champions could be voted out of the competition first.
The final series of the show, which begins on Sunday, sees 14 previous contestants - including six winners - returning for a second chance at the trophy.
"This is their last chance to prove that they were the real champion," Karen Barber said. "But what we're seeing is that there are not only champions out there. There are people that purely entertain us - the likes of Joe Pasquale and Todd [Carty].
"Sometimes it's not only the best technical skater that you look forward to - it's the person that will entertain you. And if your family at home are going to pick up that telephone, who are you going to vote for? The technical person or the one that made you laugh and entertained you the most?"

Season 9 of How I Met Your Mother has definitely been highly anticipated. Much more so than the anticipation that the typical gap between seasons of a TV show leads to. Meeting the mother is something die-hard fans have been waiting for since day one of Himym. Countless times throughout the series we’ve been close, almost getting a glimpse of her before a quick cut or a well-placed umbrella shielded her face from view. At the end of season 8, in a surprising and polarizing move, we got that glimpse of the mother, long before Ted did, meaning that she’d be a major part of season 9, and we’d actually have time to get to know her.
In addition to a good bit of the season focused on getting to know the mother, it’s a fairly safe bet that a good bit of the runtime will be devoted to...

Dancing on Ice is set to return for a ninth series in 2014, despite falling ratings over the last two years.
Beth Tweddle's victory on last night's series eight finale pulled a respectable average of 6.69 million viewers, but the numbers were way down on previous years.
[Dancing on Ice Final - In Pictures]
However, an ITV rep has confirmed that there are plans for the show to return in 2014.
Dancing on Ice's audiences have trailed off in 2012 and 2013 with stiff opposition from Countryfile and Call the Midwife on BBC One.
If there is a ninth series, it will coincide with the 30th anniversary of show stars Torvill and Dean's 1984 Winter Olympics triumph.
The show has continually changed its judging lineup in recent years and another shake-up is likely after this year's panel - Robin Cousins, Jason Gardiner, Karen Barber and Ashley Roberts - failed to entirely please fans and TV critics.
