A man accused of harassing British model Sophie Anderton is set to stand trial after cops caught him phoning her while she was in a police station reporting him.
The troubled reality TV star alleges Paul Davis has been bombarding her with text messages and phone calls, insisting she's been scared to leave her house.
Anderton was informing cops about Davis when he rang the star - but even after she handed her cell phone over to a police officer to speak with him, Davis continued to contact her, according to prosecutor Matthew Dalton.
Davis' barrister, Sarah-Jane Smiles, agreed her client did make the calls, but told a court hearing he was "insane at the time," according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
The 58 year old denies harassment.
He was bailed and is due to appear at Kingston Magistrates' Court, England next month.
