Russell Brand is back on Rumble more than a week on from allegations he raped and sexually assaulted four women at the height of his fame.
The comedian returned to his daily Stay Free show on Rumble, a video streaming service favored by free speech advocates as an alternative to YouTube, which demonetized Brand’s channel last week.
During the show, Brand questioned whether he was being “silenced” by “legacy media” after The Times, Sunday Times, and Channel 4 published allegations against him. Brand denies all criminal wrongdoing.
The show streamed soon after the Metropolitan Police announced that it would investigate allegations of sexual offenses in London and elsewhere in the UK.
“We continue to encourage anyone who believes they may have been a victim of a sexual offence, no matter how long ago it was, to contact us,” police said.

Independent talent agency 33 & West has signed comedians Masood Boomgaard, Tyler Fischer and Jimmy Dore, TheWrap can exclusively report.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Masood, Jimmy and Tyler to the 33 & West family,” said Peter DeSantis, head of talent & music crossover. “We’ve created an ecosystem at the agency that allows us to properly service their long-term upward trajectory, and a key function for our comedians is our ability to provide film and television opportunities for our comedy roster.”
“Masood is a perfect example of a comedian that started on TikTok and Instagram who is now performing live and headlining their own sold out shows,” said agency co-founder JJ Cassiere.
Boomgaard, who is also known by his alter ego Self-Help Singh, has sold out shows around the world in Singapore, London, Los Angeles, Boston, Australia and Dubai. In 2020, Boomgaard was the first South African comedian to record a lockdown comedy special from his home,...

The many clones Tatiana Maslany played on Orphan Black banded together to fight Neolution, and this was when it mainly was a belief for people who’d undergone technological enhancements, like tails. The Immortality or Bust trailer follows the man who invented volcano surfing as he rides a transhuman wave to Washington.
On The Six Million Dollar Man, Lee Major’s astronaut Steve Austin was rebuilt into the world’s first bionic man. Government scientists made him “better, stronger and faster” through biotechnical enhancements. The man at the center of Immortality or Bust wants to take that one step further. “Do you want to live forever and become a cyborg,” asks the official website. “In the last Presidential election, one man embarked on an impossible expedition to defeat aging and forever change the human being through science. Running for President as the Transhumanist Party nominee, Zoltan Istvan took his message to bio hacking labs,...

In this week’s quarantine episode of our Useful Idiots podcast, hosts Matt Taibbi and Katie Halper are joined by Jimmy Dore, comedian and podcast extraordinaire.
Matt and Katie explore the psyche of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who Katie believes might be a beta. “He’s always being out-alpha’d by Andrew Cuomo,” says Katie.
“He’s physically quite a big dude. He’s very tall. But he seems to always be intimidated by everybody who’s in his presence,” says Matt. Katie dubs this anti-Napoleon conundrum the “de Blasio complex.

In the latest episode of our Useful Idiots podcast, Matt Taibbi and Katie Halper sit down with comedian and podcaster Jimmy Dore to discuss his show (which he describes as “What The Daily Show would be if it wasn’t hosted by a millionaire”) and media bias. Fueling Dore’s work is his frustration that, today, many news networks are funded by the very people that reporters are supposed to be analyzing and exposing. This fault, he theorizes, has actually made space for podcasts to flourish.

Fareed Zakaria came in for mockery on Friday after saying he sought advice from Bono to help understand the phenomenon of European populism.
“The only way to counter the dark, pessimistic vision being peddled by nationalists and extremists, Bono says, is to have an uplifting, positive vision,” Zakaria wrote in the Washington Post on Friday. “To that end, Bono’s band, U2, has been choosing a moment during its concerts to unfurl — wait for it — the flag of the European Union.”
Zakaria, a frequent contributor to the Post opinion page and host of the CNN weekend program “Fareed Zakaria Gps,” seemed to be understanding of Bono’s view that the European Union needed rebranding to get away from its image of a lumbering, bureaucratic institution, which it has become.

Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly has made waves the last few weeks for his controversial statements on racism; namely, that black people deserve discrimination due to their inherent nature as violent thugs (to paraphrase).
Bill O'Reilly (okay, a Bill O'Reilly impersonator) stopped by "The Jimmy Dore Show," a comedy offshoot of The Young Turks, to flesh out how he feels. If he's going to be racist, he's going to be the best racist. And don't think he leaves his buddy Jon Stewart off the hook for defending him as a good guy despite these type of truly vile comments.
