Last year we tickled your holiday horror bone with a series entitled The Six Slays of Christmas. After reviewing the list, we realized there was a ton of horror projects that could and should have been added. So welcome to The Six Slays of Christmas 2012.
With the big holiday less than a week away, it's the perfect time to dive into those beloved Christmas horror flicks. If you need a reminder of the previous entries, you can check out the original Six Slays of Christmas right here. But without further ado, here's the first of this year's recommendations.

Director Jason Eisener (Discrimination of the Dead) has released his horror short "Treevenge" for fans on Twitch Film. The short, about crazed Christmas trees, is a must see for the sheer hilarity of watching Christmas trees able to communicate to each other. Starring Mike Cleven, Sarah Dunsworth, and Lex Gigeroff the film is a social satire and comedy of the silly rituals each of us endures or enjoys each year in late December. Really a true gem and one of the best shorts from 2008 "Treevenge" must be seen now and besides it is free! Have a look below for the films location and enjoy Eisener's comedic take on Christmas and the plundering of Christmas trees for religious ornaments.
