British comedy favourite Nick Frost will headline a new sitcom for ABC, which is being developed by Ben Karlin (Modern Family). The Spaced alum has had a busy time of late, balancing feature films such as The Boxtrolls and Cuban Fury, with television work such as Phineas And Ferb and Mr Sloane – but The Finger might just see his career enter a new phase.
The show will centre on Nick Ferguson (Frost), who is also known as ‘The Finger.’ He is the world’s most infamous jewel thief and, in reassessing his lifestyle, he decides that he wants to retire from his life of crime and spend more time with his nine year old son. He still needs a business, of course, so he opens a sandwich shop. The show will follow his subsequent transition from one high pressure lifestyle to another – albeit a more legitimate one.

ABC have snapped up Mr Nick Frost to lead their new comedy, the wonderfully ridiculous-sounding The Finger…
It’s always good to see some top British talent having a go at cracking America, and today’s news involving Nick Frost is no exception.
The Spaced, Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz star with play the lead in The Finger, a new ABC comedy series by Modern Family’s Ben Karlin.
Mr Frost will star as Nick Ferguson, also known as The Finger. The description of role is what makes us think this could be really good fun. We're told The Finger is ‘the world’s most famous jewel thief, who wants to quit his life of crime, open up a humble sandwich shop and do right by his 9-year-old son.’
We’re not sure when the show will be airing, but we’ll be sure to check out the pilot.

While he’s stayed busy in the cinema and on UK TV, Nick Frost hasn’t had as much success cracking the world of Us network telly. He’s linked to a pilot for Fox called Sober Companion, which is still in limbo, but he’s also attached to a new show, The Finger.Ben Karlin, who boasts work on The Daily Show, The Colbert Report and Modern Family on his CV, is aboard to co-write the pilot with Frost and oversee the show. Frost will star as Nick Ferguson, the world’s most famous – or perhaps that should be infamous – jewel thief, who plans to quit the criminal world and settle down to a quiet life, mostly because he wants to spend more time with his nine-year-old son. But he soon discovers that playing within the law and running a sandwich shop might not be as easy as pulling off gem heists.

A few tweets has revealed the next patch for Perfect Dark on Xbox Live: Among other things, an update bringing all the control options up to par with the previous iteration of the game will be released.
Nick Ferguson, producer of games on Xbox Live, put this up just a few days ago:
Aside of the controller update, there will also be Achievement fixes, Swap Triggers, Aim Sensitivity Sliders and even Solo & Team Hardcore Playlists. An exact launch date for the update hasn’t been released, but it’ll probably be out within a few weeks.
In the meantime, let’s take care of some MeatSims. Grab the Reapers!

Echo Bridge Entertainment is one of the biggest distributors of independent films in North America. The Fear Chamber was released by Echo April 27th on DVD. Now, the film makes its way to a local mailbox to be dissected here. Unfortunately, this gift might be best sent back to the sender. The central character in the film Nick Ferguson played by Rhett Giles is uncompelling and the acting of Ferguson in this feature is very poor. The lack of exterior sets, poor acting, and almost total absence of the killer from the early parts of picture makes the film unrecommendable.
The character Ferguson stumbles through scenes devoid of dialogue to the viewer's misfortune. If the character is going to be wandering around in an isolated locale at least give the guy some lines to work with. Everybody talks to themselves a little bit,...
