Municipal Waste have announced the 2024 “Brainsqueeze” North American tour.
Ghoul, Necrot, and Dead Heat will provide support for the outing, which runs from February 15th in Washington, D.C., through March 16th in Richmond, Virginia — a homecoming show for Municipal Waste.
A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday (November 8th) at 10 a.m. local time for select dates using the code Backstage, while general ticket sales start Friday (November 10th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Municipal Waste will be out in support of their latest album, 2022’s Electrified Brain, but the upcoming jaunt will also commemorate the 21st anniversary of the crossover-thrash band’s debut album Waste ‘Em All, released back in 2003. Founding frontman Tony Foresta and company have been steady on the circuit ever since,...

“I don’t know what I’d call Teenage Time Killers, but I do know it’s a supergroup of fucking badass musicians and singers,” Corrosion of Conformity drummer Reed Mullin told Rolling Stone in 2015 of his all-star punk-meets-metal side project. Their first album, Greatest Hits Vol. 1, came out that year.
Now, in the wake of Mullin’s death last month, his core collaborators in Teenage Time Killers — guitarist and co-songwriter Mick Murphy, also of My Ruin, and Foo Fighters studio engineer John Lousteau — have released a series of pro-shot...

Last month we passed along details on Battle Maximus, the new concept album from the depraved demigods of mutant metal known as Gwar, and hinted that details of a massive world tour would be coming soon. True to his word, Gwar's vocal monstrosity Oderus Urungus has stepped forward with the full details of the tour's first phase, which is slated to begin on October 2nd in Columbus, Oh and concludes in Washington, DC on November 17th. Gwar will be joined on the "Madness at the Core of Time" tour by world-famous deathcore unit Whitechapel and another FEARnet fave, A Band of Orcs, as well as thrash band Iron Reagan, featuring Municipal Waste singer Tony Foresta. "Our loyal slaves have been laboring ceaselessly to create the ultimate Gwar show, and for this they have received nothing but abuse and torment,” Oderus declared in his uniquely elegant fashion. “I know our legions...

In San Diego twin brothers Jeff and Chris Speed are best known for their Blacklist Art & Film Festival, but they also have their own production company, Halo of Flies, and sent over a behind-the-scenes look at "The Fatal Feast" music video they recently shot for Municipal Waste.
Here's how Jeff, who has relocated to Los Angeles in order to get more work going up there, describes the sci-fi/horror-themed music video, "It's a total bloodbath with spaceship miniatures and practical effects created by my brother, Chris. I wrote and directed it, and Chris did the production design - building the miniature ships, gore door gag, beer cooler, etc. We try and keep most of our special effects practical since that aesthetic always looks the coolest."
As for Municipal Waste, they're a speed metal punk band out of Richmond, Virginia, comprised of Tony Foresta - Vocals, Ryan Waste - Guitar, Land Phil - Bass,...
