[This story contains spoilers from the season two finale of Wolf Like Me.]
In the final scene of season two of Peacock’s comedy-drama Wolf Like Me, Mary (Isla Fisher) gives birth to her baby with boyfriend Gary (Josh Gad), revealing its identity as a wolf. Anxiety over whether their child would be a human or animal was at the center of most of the conflict throughout the show’s second season. But the streamer has yet to announce if audiences will get to see how Mary, Gary and his daughter Emma (Ariel Donoghue) will handle life raising a wolf offspring in a potential season three.
“Right now, we don’t know if we’re going to get to make Wolf Like Me 3. But it’s such an exciting time to be on Peacock, and when we do make it, they really let us push the boundaries and create the series we want to,” Fisher tells The Hollywood Reporter in the conversation below.

MGM continues to develop "RoboCop Returns" as a direct sequel to director Paul Verhoeven's original, satirical, ultra-violent "RoboCop" (1987) feature with director Abe Forsythe ("Little Monsters") on board to rewrite a screenplay by Justin Rhodes ("Terminator: Dark Fate"), Ed Neumeier and Michael Miner:

The city signs a deal with the mega-corporation 'Omni Consumer Products' (Ocp) to run Detroit's police department in exchange for letting Ocp rebuild run-down sections of the city into a high-end utopia. You could almost smell the chicken fajitas steaming off of the wild twist on Nirvana‘s “Lithium” in Peacock‘s horror-com Wolf Like Me Season 2.
Once again, creator Abe Forsythe and music supervisor Andrew Kotatko made musical magic with their own rendition of “Lithium” with a Mexican flavor.
“That involved me getting permission from Courtney Love. And not only to just use the original track. It’s being able to turn it into what it is in the show,” Forsythe told Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
In Wolf Like Me, Season 2, Mary (Isla Fisher) goes into labor and Gary’s (Josh Gadd) daughter Emma knows hearing “Lithium” would comfort her during an especially long and painful labor. The song reminded Mary of her dead husband (who she likely killed while transformed into a werewolf) so Emma found a version that would at least make Mary laugh.

All seven episodes of Peacock’s “Wolf Like Me” Season 2 are available to stream now (our review), doubling down on the charm and the werewolf complications introduced in season one. It makes for the perfect Halloween binge as October starts to wind down.
The series was created by Abe Forsythe (Little Monsters), who also serves as writer, director, and executive producer.
In season two, Mary (Isla Fisher) and Gary (Josh Gad) leap into the next phase of their relationship and face their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. Typical anxieties for any expecting couple get exacerbated tenfold when the mom-to-be also happens to be a werewolf.
Without delving into spoilers, the second season ends on a cliffhanger, unlike the tidy, cathartic conclusion of season one. It’s the precise type of ending that demands a third season to see what happens next. Bloody Disgusting sought answers from series creator Abe Forsythe, and...

“Wolf Like Me” Season 2 sees Mary (Isla Fisher) and Gary (Josh Gad) expecting a child and moving in together. Everything seems perfect in the Peacock horror comedy… until a handsome man from Mary’s past, played by Édgar Ramirez, shows up.
Ahead of the Season 2 premiere on Oct. 19, TheWrap spoke with series creator Abe Forsythe about what we can expect when Ramirez shows up, and all the other challenges the werewolf and the widower face as their relationship gets more serious.
Watch the Season 2 teaser video above, which Peacock exclusively shared with TheWrap.
TheWrap: How did you convince Edgar to be on the show?
Abe Forsythe: We just sent him the script. I’ve always admired him as an actor and I thought he would be really interesting in this role. I wasn’t prepared for was how much extra he brought to what I had written as the character.

The first season of genre-bending rom-com series “Wolf Like Me“ introduced the charming meet-cute between single dad Gary (Josh Gad) and tragic loner Mary (Isla Fisher) with a horror twist: Mary happens to transform into a wolf every full moon. Series creator/director/writer Abe Forsythe (2019’s Little Monsters) explores the next chapter in the couple’s relationship in Season 2, doubling down on the charm and the werewolf complications in the process.
After surviving a harrowing encounter last season that saw Mary, in wolf form, save Gary and his daughter Emma (Ariel Donoghue) from death in the Outback, the trio have settled into a comfortable, content life as a newfound family unit. But their familiar bliss is short-lived with the arrival of a new relationship complication: Mary is pregnant.

Wolf Like Me creator Abe Forsythe’s date didn’t transform into a werewolf on that fateful “full moon” night they spent together.
But what if she had?
Forsythe said the inspiration behind his hit Peacock series Wolf Like Me came from a real-life dating experience and his deep respect for the 1981 groundbreaking horror-comedy, An American Werewolf in London.

Set in Australia, widower and single dad Gary (Josh Gad) meets Mary (Isla Fisher) by chance. Not only is Gary taken with Mary, but his daughter, Emma, is as well.

If you thought Mary and Gary's relationship had bite back when Wolf Like Me Season 1 premiered, allow us to present the trailer for Wolf Like Me Season 2.
Their bond is stronger than ever as they both vow to protect one another, even as the net is closing around them.
With Mary's actions being the topic of much debate, Gary realizes that the only way to keep the family safe is to embrace this relationship.
The big concern, obviously, is that Mary is pregnant, and there's a high chance she'll be giving birth to a werewolf.
How the heck do you explain that to medical professionals?
Oh, yes, the second chapter of this Peacock dramedy promises to be just as delicious as the first.
As previously reported, Wolf Like Me Season 2 welcomes Edgar Ramirez into the fold as Mary's former professor, Anton.

The pregnancy of Isla Fisher’s character Mary, who turns into a werewolf when the moon is full, is a tricky one in the first Season 2 trailer of “Wolf Like Me,” which Peacock released on Wednesday.
In the clip, which you can watch above, both she and boyfriend Gary (Josh Gad) falter when asked if they “know what [the baby]’s going to be.” Will it be a normal human like Gary, or a ravenous wolf like Mary?
We also get glimpses of the birth scene, in which Mary begins to transform during labor, which poses a danger to everyone present for the birth.
Another wrinkle for the couple is Anton an old professor of Mary’s who turns up suddenly at a baby shower. Gary is jealous of him, while Mary is worried about the secrets he might spill.
Speaking of secrets, there’s the matter of the two men that...

It’s now been nearly ten years since the most recent installment in the RoboCop franchise, that film of course being the 2014 remake, but the property certainly hasn’t gone anywhere. Comedian W.C. Fields is credited with the famous advice for all performers to "never work with children or animals." It's sage wisdom if you're an actor that's lucky enough to be in a position to turn work down in the first place. When a certain horror movie was offered to Lupita Nyong'o, she had already won Best Supporting Actress for Steve McQueen's "12 Years a Slave," appeared in two "Star Wars" films as the Yoda-esque Maz Kanata, and co-starred opposite Chadwick Boseman in the global phenomenon "Black Panther." Oh, and Nyong'o was already an international fashion icon to boot.
She certainly didn't need to fly to Australia to make a zombie film with a room full of preschool kids directed by a relatively unknown, young director. But that's exactly what she did, and it turned out to be one of the harder shoots of her career. In an interview with Collider,...

"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is all about its cast. It can't help but be. Both the returning actors and the new additions are working in and around the void left by Chadwick Boseman's untimely death at the age of 43. Boseman was the Black Panther in every sense, and like T'Challa, he became a hero to many. Now, director Ryan Coogler and his team are left to mourn and honor Boseman both on screen and off. It's an unenviable task, but one that appears to have been realized with love and craft to spare.
That's due in no small part to the incredibly stacked roster of actors appearing in "Wakanda Forever." So far, there's been tons of discourse about which of them will be the next Black Panther; however, by appearing in this film, they're each acknowledging that they could never be. Marvel may make a new character assume the Black Panther's mantle,...

“For me there’s something so magical about the show because it doesn’t traffic in cynicism,” declares Josh Gad about his passion project “Central Park,” the animated musical comedy series that he co-created, co-writes and stars in. Funnily enough, the same can also be said about romantic comedy “Wolf Like Me,” Gad’s other TV project this past season on which he stars opposite Isla Fisher. Both projects feature Gad at his most lovable, showing once again how good he is at portraying endearingly quirky and unvarnished characters. They also naturally reflect his inclination to work on projects that provide much needed levity during some particularly challenging times. Watch our exclusive video interview above.

Comedy staples Josh Gad and Isla Fisher are putting their dramatic hats on for their latest project, Wolf Like Me. The Peacock original series from creator, director, and executive producer Abe Forsythe tells the story of Gary (Gad) and Mary (Fisher), two people with a lot of baggage. The pair find themselves entwined in each others’ lives when they are involved in a car accident, with Mary hitting Gary and his daughter Emma (Ariel Donoghue). (Credit: Mark Rogers/Peacock) So, what would draw a man to a woman that nearly killed himself and his daughter? Well, Gary’s been struggling to provide for Emma since the death of his wife, and after she begins to connect with Mary, he can’t help but be drawn to her as well. And while Mary has a secret of her own that she can’t bring herself to share with anyone, the universe...
