The announcement came today with a slew of material, including a key visual showing long-suffering protagonist Mimori Touka. The second season of Terraformars season 2 will be titled Terraformars Revenge and will be airing in April 2016. Michio Fukuda (Hyakko, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan: Demon Capital) will replace Hiroshi Hamasaki as director. In addition, Liden Films will be recieving some animation help in the show's sophmore outing from Tyo Animations. Kenichi Tachibana and Yū Sasuga began the Terraformars manga in Japan in 2011. The series will have sold 14 million copies as of November 19th, when the 15th volume goes on sale. The first season of the Terra Formars anime consisted of 13 episodes and covered the Annex 1 arc of the manga. A prequel Ova was released with the blu-ray/DVD of the first season which covered events 20 years prior to the series.
