Another Telepictures talk show wrapped up a successful run in daytime today. The women of The Real — Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai Jenkins and Garcelle Beauvais — said goodbye after eight seasons and 1,360 episodes in syndication.
Eight days after Ellen DeGeneres bid farewell to her daytime audience of 19 seasons, the women of The Real let the tears flow as they looked back at some of their more memorable moments — like when Love got a surprise visit from Idris Elba, Houghton’s wedding in Paris, the show’s interview with Michelle Obama, and when original host Tamera Mowry admitted to having sex dreams with women. There were also lots of clips of them either falling on stage or simply dancing it out.
Sadly, fans weren’t able to attend the pre-taped finale that was shot back on April 27. Because of the pandemic, the show hasn’t featured a studio audience since...

San Francisco, March 9 (Ians) Tech billionaire Elon Musk's private aerospace company SpaceX has sought approval from regulators in the US to connect its Starlink satellite Internet network to large vehicles including trucks and ships.
The request, filed with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), marks a move to expand the Starlink satellite Internet network from rural areas to other sectors.
"This application would serve the public interest by authorising a new class of ground-based components for SpaceX's satellite system that will expand the range of broadband capabilities available to moving vehicles throughout the United States and to moving vessels and aircraft worldwide," SpaceX Director of Satellite policy David Goldman wrote in a letter to the FCC filed on Friday, according to a report in CNBC on Monday.
After the report, Musk clarified that SpaceX is not connecting the Starlink satellite Internet network to Tesla cars.

When I heard the news that NBC's news division had hired a private jet to entice David Goldman to grant them his one and only interview as he flew to Brazil to pick up his long lost son, I was shocked. A news organization has enough money to pay for its own private plane?!? I didn't think Any news outfit would have enough money to pay for its own private bathrooms.
The Society of Professional Journalists has issued a public statement criticizing the news division for using an "extensive gesture" to score an exclusive with Goldman and thus "jeopardized its journalistic independence and credibility in its initial and subsequent reports."
Did NBC cross a line or should the reporter with the biggest bank account score the scoop?

Following a dramatic five-year custody battle, David Goldman reunited with his son Sean in Brazil on Christmas Eve and tells the "Today" show that he and his son will "heal." When Sean was four, David's then-wife took their son on a two-week trip to Brazil but never returned. David's wife then divorced him and married a prominent lawyer. She passed away last year and her Brazilian husband then tried to adopt Sean, but Brazilian courts eventually ruled that Sean must be returned to Goldman, his father. Cameras captured a mob scene on Thursday, Dec. 24, as Sean, 9, was led by his stepfather to the U.S. consulate in Rio de Janeiro to be reunited with his father.
