‘Batgirls’ is a comic book series published by DC Comics that follows the adventures of several characters who have assumed the Batgirl mantle. The series prominently features Barbara Gordon, Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown. Barbara Gordon serves as a mentor to Cassandra and Stephanie, who take on the Batgirl roles more directly.
A notable aspect of the story is the relationship between Cassandra and Stephanie. The two bond through shared trauma and develop a beautiful friendship, which some fans began to interpret as a romantic relationship.

The Killing Joke is one of those films that would have been a challenge to adapt. Despite the film being adapted into an animated feature, there was a lot of backlash about how the story was treated. Regardless, Bruce Timm had certain reservations about the adaptation from the beginning of production.

Timm revealed to Empire what his idea for the film was, and that pretty early on in the project, there was one aspect of the film that was set in stone from the very beginning. The film made a lot of changes from the source material, but this bit was to be kept as is, Bruce Timm revealed.

Henry Cavil's time in the DC Extended Universe abruptly ended after his widely celebrated return as Superman in Black Adam. DC Studios decided they didn't want him to stick around as the Man of Steel, and David Corenswet was cast as his replacement.
Of course, had filmmaker Zack Snyder not been ousted from the Dceu before Justice League finished shooting, he'd have made at least two sequels to the 2017 movie.
GQ recently caught up with the director to discuss his career behind the camera. Snyder then elaborated on his decision to end Zack Snyder's Justice League with a glimpse into the future which revealed that Superman eventually falls under Darkseid's control.
We even returned to the Dceu's "Knightmare" timeline, with Batman leading a team of heroes and villains plotting to take the Man of Steel down.

Whenever it comes to the Dcau, fans often look back to Bruce Timm’s masterful work on Batman: The Animated Series, which by many is still considered the peak of the caped crusader. However, the Dcau isn’t just limited to Btas, as there have been several different interpretations of the iconic character in the realm of animation, with one of them being The Batman.
Not to be confused with Matt Reeves’ The Batman, The Batman Animated Series was a fun reimagining of Batman and its coterie of supervillains, which scored well critically throughout its run. One thing that fans found odd about the show was the introduction of Batgirl as Bruce’s first sidekick, but the writers can’t be blamed for this decision.

The Killing Joke is considered one of comic book legend Alan Moore’s crowing achievements in superhero comics. Right alongside his classic works like The Watchmen, The Killing Joke attempts to tell the story of Batman’s most notorious nemesis, the Joker.

The Killing Joke ended on quite the nebulous note, leaving whatever happened in the end open for interpretation. This was true for the animated adaptation of the comics as well, one that was headed by Bruce Timm as the executive producer. Batman and Joker are two of the most beloved DC comics characters of all time, and both have been played by numerous actors on the screen. However, when it comes to the best Batman-Joker pairing, fans will wholeheartedly agree that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill were the best hero-villain duo they have ever come across. With films like Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker and The Batman Superman Movie: World’s Finest, both actors have proven why they are considered to be the best of the best.
A still from Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Not only was their voice as Batman and Joker loved by the fans, but the two actors also had a great time working together. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill’s Batman: The Killing Joke sure was a controversial addition to the collection, but that didn’t stop them from making the most of it.

Bruce Timm, the visionary behind the acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series, actually admitted something unexpected. He wasn’t a fan of adapting the graphic novel The Killing Joke into a movie. Even though he did a great job in crafting a mature yet accessible Batman universe, he thought this particular story wasn’t suited for animation.
Batman: The Animated Series
Timm’s Batman: The Animated Series (Tas) was a masterclass in crafting a show that resonated with both children and adults. The show took a lot of inspiration from noir and classic animation styles but never shied away from mature themes. Remember the harrowing scene where Barbara Gordon falls from a building?
Suggested“We floated it past Fox Kids and they said “Nope!”: Bruce Timm’s Revolutionary Idea for a Batman: The Animated Series Episode is Too Good to Ignore
His crew handled it smartly, hinting at the tragedy without showing anything too graphic.

Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight trilogy is famously one of the best adaptations of the character to have ever graced a screen. Not only is the actor perfect in his role as the Batman, dedicating everything he had to the role, the supporting cast, action, and design are perfect. The cherry on top, however, is Christopher Nolan and his award-winning direction.
Christian Bale in The Dark Knight Rises
Calling the three films perfect would be the best way to describe them. Considering just how well-thought out the films were, it is surprising to find out that the third film was going to have a completely different story. One that can be used for another film as it introduced one of the most important characters in The Batman’s story, as well as a beloved character from the comics.

When making The Dark Knight films, Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan had a pact that they would walk away if they were fortunate enough to make three films. The pair stayed true to this vision and concluded their Batman adventure after The Dark Knight Rises. But if Nolan were to make a potential fourth film in the series, one fan had the perfect villain and actor suggestion for the Oppenheimer director.
Fan creates a trailer for a potential fourth film in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy
The fan made a concept trailer in 2012 with clips from previous films and chose The Riddler as the villain for the film. The fan’s choice of actor to play The Riddler was the Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck. While the fan’s idea of a fourth film never came to fruition, it still has a lot of potential.

Alan Moore and Brian Bolland's 1988 graphic novel "The Killing Joke" is one of the most famous Batman stories. It's also undergone a more adversarial reevaluation in the 21st century due to its exploitative depiction of violence against women; the Joker shooting and disabling Barbara Gordon is a textbook case of a woman in a refrigerator.
Despite the ickiness, I still think it's a damn good comic. Bolland's artwork is gorgeous and the book interrogates Batman and the Joker's shared dynamic with depth every Batman writer since has been chasing.
In "The Killing Joke," the Joker abducts Commissioner Gordon and tries to push him to his psychological breaking point. As the Joker remembers it, he was once a regular man who had a really bad day that convinced him to laugh at how awful the world is. But his hypothesis is wrong; Gordon doesn't crack and Batman suggests the...

At the end of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s 1988 one-shot Batman: The Killing Joke, the Joker lays out his worldview in plain terms. After testing his theory that “one bad day” could make even the most decent person into a madman like himself, the Joker tells his nemesis, “It’s all a joke! Everything anybody ever valued or struggled for… it’s all a monstrous, demented gag!”
Even more than the grisly sights of The Killing Joke—in which the Clown Prince of Crime sets out to prove his theory by brutalizing Batgirl Barbara Gordon and tormenting her father Commissioner Gordon—that line has set the course of Joker stories of the past several decades. Fans and creators alike try to push the Joker to edgier extremes, forgetting how Batman answers when his nemesis asks why he isn’t laughing. “Because I’ve heard it before,” he responds. “And...

Today, Spotify, in partnership with Warner Bros. and DC, announced The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark will premiere on Tuesday, October 10 with all 8 episodes available exclusively on Spotify. The series will follow an unexpected adventure from the perspective of one of the most cunning DC Super-Villains in Gotham City, Edward Nygma voiced by Hasan Minhaj. Minhaj leads the cast, reprising his role from last year’s global sensation, Batman Unburied. You can check out a special video message from Hasan here.
Colman Domingo joins the cast as Batman, who begrudgingly teams up with Minhaj’s Riddler to track down a masked vigilante on the loose in Gotham City. The mysterious character is murdering notorious DC Super-Villains all over Gotham City, and all clues point to the suspect being the Caped Crusader himself. Now, with a target on his head, The Riddler is forced to break out of Arkham Asylum and team up with Batman.

In a different world, the Batgirl movie would have been released following The Flash, but as we know, Warner Bros. put Barbara Gordon on the shelf, never to be seen again. For directors Adil El Abri and Bilall Fallah, watching The Flash was a bittersweet experience.
“We watched it and we were sad,” Adil El Abri told Insider. “We love director Andy Muschietti and his sister Barbara, who produced the movie. But when we watched it, we felt we could have been part of the whole thing.” He continued, “We didn’t get the chance to show ‘Batgirl’ to the world and let the audience judge for themselves. Because the audience really is our ultimate boss and should be the deciders of if something is good or bad, or if something should be seen or not.“

There's not much you can say about Bruce Timm's contribution to Batman on-screen that hasn't been said. The architect of the DC Animated Universe has had a hand in pretty much all the Dark Knight's animated exploits, thanks mostly to his pioneering work alongside Eric Radmoski on "Batman: The Animated Series" back in the early '90s. There was so much that went into making that show great, including the voice talents of Kevin Conroy, who for many remains the definitive voice of Batman. But it was arguably the show's overall tone that made it so irresistible for a generation of kids.
Borrowing not from only from classic kids cartoons but from such unlikely sources as Alfred Hitchcock, who greatly influenced the look of the show, film noir, and a multitude of art styles, "Batman: Tas" was ostensibly a kids' show that didn't treat its audience like kids.

1966 was a good year to be a child watching TV. It was the premiere year of "Star Trek," of course, and little kids could easily fall in love with Spock (Leonard Nimoy) and the adventures of the U.S.S. Enterprise. Debuting at about the same time was "The Monkees," a playful riff on "A Hard Days Night" starring the eponymous pre-fab rock group that has always, to my eye, been way more interesting than the Beatles. 1966 was also the year of the fourth season of "The Avengers," the first season to feature Diana Rigg as Emma Peel.
1966 was also the debut of "Batman," one of the best TV shows of all time. Unlike most TV series, "Batman" aired two days a week, with the first half of a cliffhanger airing on Wednesdays, and the conclusion airing on Thursdays. It starred the impeccably funny Adam West and Burt Ward, two...

The latest Warner Animated DC feature film adapts the 2000-2001 Elseworlds miniseries Batman: The Doom that Came to Gotham. The fun of the Elseworlds comics, and soon the live-action versions under the new artistic regime, is taking the familiar and imagining them in other times and other places. Here, we do back to the early 20th century and overlay it with a dose of Loftcraftian horror.

It's safe to say that the cultural influence of the 1966 "Batman" series peaked with the release of the 1966 feature-length spin-off movie. As detailed in "Batman: The Complete History" by Les Daniels, the series was met with declining enthusiasm when returned for a second season and was then canceled by ABC after the third season. Like the concurrently-airing "Star Trek" on NBC, "Batman" was a classic in the making, but cut short for contemporary audiences.
That's not to say the "Batman" team didn't try to save the show. For season 3, they mixed up the formula. To save costs, they cut the two episodes, one-story format -- aired on back-to-back nights -- from previous seasons. This also meant doing away with the trademark comic book-style cliffhangers. However, one innovation meant a budget increase: bringing in a third star alongside Batman (Adam West) and Robin (Burt Ward). That star was Barbara Gordon, daughter...

Batgirl tends to gets the short end of the Bat Stick. Comics-wise, one of her most famous story arcs is ... not particularly fun. Outside of "DC Super Hero Girls," she's rarely front and center in the world of DC animation. Well, except for adaptations of the aforementioned (in)famous story arc which is, again, not particularly fun. Lately, she's even gotten a raw deal in live-action. The character was all set to be portrayed by Leslie Grace ("In the Heights") in a film directed by "Bad Boys for Life" and "Ms. Marvel" veterans Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, only for Warner Bros. Discovery to brutally scrap the whole thing in the middle of post-production as a reported tax write-off. All this is to say, Batgirl deserves better. She deserves someone who cares for her story.

"Batgirl" Star Leslie Grace Says She Found Out About the Movie's Cancellation "Like the Rest of You"

"Batgirl"'s directors, the cast, and fans are still reeling from Warner Bros.'s shocking decision to ax the nearly finished superhero adaptation. On Aug. 2, 2022, multiple reports confirmed that the 90 million production, inspired by the DC Comics character of the same name, had been shelved, prompting outrage all over. Now, six months after the bombshell, "Batgirl" star Leslie Grace is opening up about her reaction to her movie's cancellation, which, according to her, she learned about from a New York Post report.
"I found out like the rest of you," the actor, best known for starring in "In the Heights," told Variety in an interview published on Feb. 13, 2023. "And then my phone just started blowing up. . . . It was like deflating a balloon. On that day, I was very much just taking it all in, but also so sure of the magic that happened - in...

"Batman: The Animated Series" may be a wholly original take on the Dark Knight but it's also indebted to numerous inspirations. Show co-creators Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski, along with writer Paul Dini, were keen to draw on not just the best of Batman's history, but cultural history in general. The goal was to produce a show that, as Dini told Syfy, depicted "a dark world, a world where crime really exists on every level." That approach would often cause them to run afoul of the Fox censors, who weren't enthusiastic about the show's mature tone. After all, this was a Fox Kids cartoon.
Thankfully, the team behind "Batman: Tas" were adept at navigating their way through the treacherous waters of Standards and Practices, maintaining their mature vision despite frequent pushback. And that extended beyond the usual stuff that gets censors riled up, such as violence or edgy language. The...

After "Batman: The Animated Series" ended its legendary run on Fox Kids in 1997, fans of the show were mercifully given a further two seasons (sort of) when Kids' WB stepped in. Debuting in 1998, "The New Batman Adventures" served as a kind of continuation/sequel to Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski's seminal show, updating the memorable "Batman: Tas" design style and shifting the focus from the Dark Knight to members of the Bat family and other Gothamites.
Joined by Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, Batman would become a more stern figure in this follow-up series, which aired alongside Timm's "Superman: The Animated Series" and helped expand the DC Animated Universe. This show did away with elements of its predecessor's darker, noirish aesthetic and simplified Batman, Joker, and other characters' looks.
But while much changed between Timm's original series and its follow-up, much of the behind-the-scenes processes stayed the same, including navigating the censors.

DC’s Peter Safran has defended the decision to shelve Batgirl despite the fact filming had been completed.
The Warner Bros film, which cost 90m (£73.7m) to shoot, had its release cancelled in August 2022.
Lead star Leslie Grace, who played Barbara Gordon, and the film’s directors, Bad Boys for Life’s Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, expressed their shock at the news in respective statements.
At the time, several rumours circulated surrounding the decision, with an official statement claiming it reflected the “leadership’s strategic shift as it relates to the DC universe and HBO Max”.
CEO David Zaslav said of the decision: “We’re not going to put a movie out unless we believe in it.”
Since then, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and Safran were hired to overhaul DC’s release slate, and, on Tuesday (31 January), they broached the subject of Batgirl, saying that...

We all know the saga of the Batgirl movie at this point; The DC movie starred Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl, but Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the movie last summer, despite the fact that it was nearly finished post-production. The move was said to take advantage of a tax write-down, but it may also be that the film just wasn’t all that good. During yesterday’s DC press event, DC Studios’ Peter Safran commented on Batgirl, saying that the studio made the right choice to drop the movie as it would have hurt the DC brand.
“I saw the movie, and there are a lot of incredibly talented people in front of and behind the camera on that film. But that film was not releasable, and it happens sometimes,” Peter Safran said. “That film was not releasable. I actually think that [president and CEO of Warner Bros. Following the departure of Walter Hamada from Warner Bros. Discovery, DC Films became DC Studios and the company appointed James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new co-chairs of the all-new DC Universe. However, when they stepped into these new positions, the duo weren't just given the reins to the cinematic universe containing fan-favorite characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. They were also brought in to oversee the television and animation projects based on the vast history of DC Comics.

"Batman: The Animated Series" is, for many fans, the definitive version of the Dark Knight, as it perfectly captured the essence of what made the character and his world in the comics work so well, while also adding fresh new elements to Batman's mythology. It was followed by "The New Batman Adventures" which, while not quite as strong as its predecessor, did a terrific job of expanding the Batman animated universe. Of course, when that series ended, fans were left wondering if the next iteration of the series would be able to live up to the high standards set by its forerunners. Luckily, the subsequent series was a worthwhile follow-up to the two previous "Batman" animated shows.
That show was "Batman Beyond." The premise, on its surface, is quite a departure from its comic book source material. While taking place in the same continuity as "Batman: The Animated Series" and "The New Batman Adventures,...

Leslie Grace is giving fans a taste of the Batgirl costume that could have been. The In the Heights actress shared a retrospective look back at her 2022 on Instagram that included several behind-the-scenes glimpses of the Batgirl production.
Grace was slated to star as the titular vigilante hero in a planned film for HBO Max. But in August 2022, it was revealed that Warner Bros. decided to scrap the film entirely, despite production being nearly finished.
The Instagram video features clips of Grace filming as Barbara Gordon, stunt training footage, behind-the-scenes shots and the actress in her trailer with a face covered in SFX makeup bruises and goofing around on the set of the project, alongside her cast and crew. The compilation also includes photos, including one of Grace with Brendan Fraser’s Firefly, and reveals the final costume of Grace’s Batgirl, which is reminiscent of Michael Keaton’s Batman costume.

Take a look at more images of actress Leslie Grace as DC Comics "Batgirl", from the recently canceled 90 million budgeted live-action superhero feature, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah:
"...studio insiders insist the decision to cancel the film...
"...was not driven by a desire for a tax write-off...
"...but by the desire for the studio’s slate of DC features...
"...to be at a 'blockbuster' scale..."
The first 'Bat-Girl' aka 'Betty Kane' (named after 'Batman' creator Bob Kane) debuted in DC Comics (1961)...
...created by writer Sheldon Moldoff and illustrator Bill Finger…
...then replaced by 'Barbara Gordon', as the daughter of 'Gotham City' police commissioner 'James Gordon'...
...in "Detective Comics" #359 (1967) by writer Gardner Fox and illustrator Carmine Infantino.
In DC Comics' "New 52" series (2011), 'Barbara Gordon', previously wounded in action as a costumed vigilante, regained her mobility after undergoing experimental surgery at a South African clinic.

2022 sure was a unique year for DC. James Gunn stepping in as co-chairman and CEO of DC Studios–and making a plethora of changes, good or bad–takes over so many headlines that it’s easy to forget that the biggest story of the year for DC up to that point was the cancellation of their most talked-about project, Batgirl.
To end the year, actress Leslie Grace–who was set to play Batgirl (aka Barbara Gordon)–posted a video on her Instagram offering a highlight reel of her own 2022. And as just another tease for fans, it featured numerous pictures and videos of the Batgirl costume, behind-the-scenes stunt work and on-set clips. Of course, the Batgirl get-up has been seen before (check out the banner image above), but Leslie Grace’s photos show more details of the rather fetching purple and yellow suit.

Every year tends to come with both good and bad times. But some years, it really feels like there may be rather more of one than the other. For instance, following the merger of WarnerMedia with Discovery, those affected by CEO David Zaslav's ruthless cost-cutting measures that left numerous projects canceled or vaulted to never see the light of day again in an effort to trim billions of dollars from the company's budget. One such project was Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah's "Batgirl."

The first poster for “Blue Beetle” was unveiled during DC Studios and Warner Bros. Discovery’s Ccxp presentation Saturday in São Paulo, Brazil.
The poster is reminiscent of the first teaser for countless comic book superhero films, from “Batman” in 1989 to “X-Men” in 2000 in that it’s entirely comprised of the title character(s)’ iconic logo. It’s all about that alien scarab beetle that gives young Jamie Reyes (Xolo Maridueña from Netflix’s “Cobra Kai”) his otherworldly powers.
The film will also star Susan Sarandon as the villainous Victoria Kord, with Belissa Escodobo, Bruna Marquezine, George Lopez, Raoul Max Trujillo and “What We Do In the Shadows” scene-stealer Harvey Guillén lending support. “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” began its domestic box office run with 28 million in Thursday night preview screenings. That’s above the 25 million preview gross of “Black Panther” four years ago (and the 36 million advance-night showings for “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” last spring) — an impressive achievement for a big-budget franchise sequel arriving without both the actor (Chadwick Boseman) and the character (King T’Challa) who headlined its 2018 predecessor.
It’s just the latest case of a tentpole film landing in theaters after the sudden death of one of its stars, following such high-profile examples as 2008’s “The Dark Knight,” 2015’s “Furious 7” and 2016’s “Star Trek Beyond” and 2017’s “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.” Unlike “Wakanda Forever,” all four of those films included their deceased actors — though “Furious 7” required extensive retooling to include Paul Walker.

The live-action Titans series has been flawed from the get-go by presenting us with a Dick Grayson that the writers woefully misunderstand. There is no comic book creator who ever depicted Grayson in this manner so it sets the wrong tone. Its low-budget when created for the short-lived DC Universe streaming service didn’t help.

Gotham Knights is destined to be controversial, but the game does deserve quite a bit of credit for featuring an extensive co-op mode that allows you to team up with friends and take on the Gotham underworld together. Like so many other aspects of Gotham Knights, though, the game’s co-op multiplayer mode is hindered by some questionable design decisions that will limit how many people actually get to enjoy that feature.

Gotham Knights might look like an Arkham game, but the new action-adventure title is actually a completely new Batman adventure that even features a new cast of characters and voice actors.
We’ll have a lot to say about Gotham Knights in the coming days, but the quality of the game’s cast really is one of the game’s greatest assets. This is a slightly deeper dive into the Batman roster than we’re used to seeing in games, which means that the game gives us the chance to spend some time with some faces we’re not always used to seeing. Of course, it’s the voices of those characters as much as their faces that really sell how much they belong to be the stars of an unlikely Gotham adventure.

An army of Barbara Gordon fans isn’t the only group upset about losing Batgirl to DC’s rash of slash-and-burn recovery tactics. Brendan Fraser, who starred in the canceled film as the villain Firefly, says the loss of the movie is “tragic,” and he’s disappointed by the turn of events.
Fraser is experiencing a surge in popularity after being out of the Hollywood game for several years. He’s recently delivered an awards-worthy performance in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale, and casting agents are banging on his door to join their promising projects. You would think that DC would see the value in allowing Batgirl to fly in theaters or, at the very least, become an HBO Max exclusive. However, Chief Executive Officer and President of Warner Bros. You would think that DC would see the value in allowing Batgirl to fly in theaters or, at the very least, become an HBO Max exclusive. However, Chief Executive Officer and President of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, saw little value in the film directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. In so many words,...

With peak nerd TV upon us, there’s never been a better time to be a fan of genre programming – or David S. Goyer, a devotee and prolific writer-producer of genre fare.
Goyer and his Phantom Four Films partner Keith Levine produced Hulu’s new David Bruckner-directed “Hellraiser” movie, which launched Friday, and are in the middle of filming their latest take on classic IP, “The Omen” prequel movie “The First Omen,” in Rome. Beyond that, the pair are in post-production on the second season of Apple’s “Foundation” adaptation, breaking the writers’ room for Season 1 of the Winston Duke-led “Batman Unburied” podcast for DC and Spotify. They’re also working on two spinoff podcasts, including “Riddler,” featuring Hasan Minhaj, and a Batgirl/Barbara Gordon project. And they’re in the early stages of developing a dramatic series revolving around Michael Moorcock’s “The Eternal Champion” books for...

In retrospect, it’s pretty ironic that Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the Batgirl movie after it had already finished principal photography in order to claim a 90 million tax write-off. Because if the precipitous drop of the media company’s stock options are any indication, the bad publicity they generated has cost the studio far more.
Yet more than just media bookkeeping, the death of Batgirl is also a small tragedy for the folks who worked on the movie: directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah whose career was on the rise after 2020’s early (and only) box office sleeper hit, Bad Boys for Life; Brendan Fraser whose career is on the verge of a major renaissance with all the Oscar buzz generated by his new movie The Whale, which received standing ovations at Venice and Toronto; and perhaps most especially Leslie Grace, a Latina actress who shined like a light...

Leslie Grace isn’t letting “Batgirl” down without a fight.
Almost two months after Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed the DC film would be indefinitely shelved, lead star Leslie Grace shared a TikTok video of behind-the-scenes footage from filming. Grace plays Barbara Gordon in the film, which was expected to premiere on streamer HBO Max in early 2023. Michael Keaton, Brendan Fraser, and J.K. Simmons rounded out the cast.
Grace shared scenes of herself in the makeup chair, practicing fight choreography, and co-star Fraser doing push-ups as character Firefly. The video is set to Grace’s original song titled “Batgirls Get Lonely Too.”
“Wrote this song during the pandemic…b4 I even knew Any of this would be my life,” Grace captioned.
“Batgirl” filmmakers Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah previously stated Warner Bros. Discovery has blocked their access to the production servers so they cannot finish “Batgirl.”
“We have nothing,” Fallah said.

Imagine being an actor cast in the leading role in a high-profile, big-budget superhero movie, and then film and wrap production — only to have the completed movie shelved by the studio under murky circumstances in the midst of a corporate shuffle.
That’s exactly what happened to Leslie Grace when Warner Bros. decided not to release “Batgirl”, in which she plays the titular costumed crimefighter in what had been a hugely anticipated release.
On Saturday, Grace apparently went rogue by posting behind-the-scenes footage from the flick in a brief 15-second TikTok video, which had originally been scheduled to debut on HBO Max.
