Connie Hanson was "Marshalene" in Urban Cowboy, circa. 1980 and also appeared in Hot Wire (1980) and Urban Cowboy: The Rise and Fall of Gilley's in 2015. Prior to her film career, she had country music records on the charts, including "Still A Lot of Love in San Antone", "Honky Tonk for Women", "Bill Balls in Cowtown", and country music videos of "Cry" and "I Can't See Strait from Here". Prior to her country music career, she appeared in Equity and Non-Equity productions. As an Equity Actress/Singer for the parent company of Valley Music Theatre (California) and The Houston Music Theater (Texas), she appeared in repertory roles in Camelot, Carnival, The King & I, How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, High Spirits, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. At Queensbury Theater, as "Little Mary" in Little Mary Sunshine. Regional Theater in Kiss Me, Kate! (as Bianca), TUTS (Theater Under the Stars) in My Fair Lady. Regional Theater (Texas) Dear Ruth (as Ruth) and many other stage productions. She holds the record for the most centerfolds for the Canadian Sun newspaper (3).
