During the ceremony, Don Cheadle introduced a montage of photos and clips paying tribute to those late stars. "We traveled with them on unforgettable journeys," Cheadle said. He added, "Although they've passed on, they've left behind the most precious gift: the ability to spend that precious time with them forever and ever."

Sunday’s SAG Awards ceremony will be a streaming event for the first time on the Netflix YouTube channel. One of the highlights each year is the special In Memoriam segment. It’s been a particularly rough year with over 100 deaths of prominent actors and actresses who were likely members of SAG/AFTRA. Show producers typically are able to include approximately 40-50 people in a tribute.
Among that group will certainly be Oscar winners Louise Fletcher, William Hurt and Irene Cara, plus nominees Angela Lansbury (a SAG life achievement recipient) and Melinda Dillon. Emmy champs Mary Alice, Kirstie Alley, Leslie Jordan, Ray Liotta, Stuart Margolin, Robert Morse and Barbara Walters.

"Seinfeld" may have ended up one of the most popular and transformative television shows ever, but its success was not always certain. The show struggled with ratings in its first three seasons, always avoiding cancellation by the skin of its teeth.
The fourth season was where the show broke out, in part by putting out one of the greatest seasons of comedy of all time. With a season-long meta-arc where Jerry and George pitch a "show about nothing" to NBC executives, paired with some of the best individual episodes of the series, like "The Contest" and "The Bubble Boy," the show was finally gaining traction.
But this was more than just a result of stellar writing, according to former NBC president Warren Littlefield. In a Vulture interview, Littlefield said that part of what he believes boosted the popularity of "Seinfeld" was the introduction of the main cast's parents, specifically the Costanzas,...

Jerry Stiller, who rose to fame in the 1960s by teaming with his wife Anne Meara as a comedy act, has died at age 92. The father of actor Ben Stiller, Jerry went on to a successful acting career himself, becoming an iconic presence on such television series as "Seinfeld" and "The King of Queens". Both he and his wife Anne always aspired to acting careers but found their initial success in standup comedy, although Stiller appeared in dramatic roles on many television programs beginning in the late 1950s. Anne was a tall and of Irish heritage and Catholic while Jerry was short and Jewish. Their first major break came in 1961 when Ed Sullivan featured them on his show. They were an immediate sensation and would be invited back over the years for return appearances.

You’ve still got a friend in them. Fear not, for Pixar has beaten the odds with Toy Story 4. Opening up this week, the sequel finds a moving and wholly unexpected way to continue the adventures of Woody, Buzz, and company. With new delightful characters, an ending you won’t see coming, and a message aimed more at adults than ever before, this is something special. Any worries that the animation giant would fumble the fourth time around are for naught. Not only is this one of Pixar’s best, it’s also one of the best films of the year so far, without question. The third sequel in the Toy Story franchise, Toy Story 4 finds both a new beginning as well as potential end for the series. Now living with Bonnie, Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) and the rest of Andy’s former toys have a new kid.

Hot on the heels of “John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum” crushing the box office, Keanu Reeves has a new hero for you to meet: Duke Caboom. He is Canada’s greatest stuntman and he is here to save the day in the new “Toy Story 4” trailer.
When Bonnie’s new spork toy Forky (Tony Hale) goes missing, Bo Peep (Annie Potts) calls on the services of Duke, an Evel Knievel-esque, motorcycle-riding daredevil who is quick to show off his flexible poses on his sweet bike. His motto is “Let’s caboom!”, obviously, which he declares before he takes Woody (Tom Hanks) on a giant leap across shelves in a toy store.
Duke doesn’t get too much screen time in the trailer, which is just as well — gotta keep ’em wanting more, you know? But he seems cool, funny and nice, like all Canadians. And having a Canadian icon...

Disney has released a final trailer for Toy Story 4 before the film hits theaters on June 21.
Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy.
But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior.

When Pixar’s Toy Story 4 opens this June, the big screen will welcome back old favorites like so much tear-soaked nostalgia. Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), Trixie (Kristen Schaal), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Mrs. Potato Head (Estelle Harris) and Mr. Potato Head, complete with voice work from the late Don Rickles recorded prior to his passing, are all right where we left them, playing to infinity and beyond in Bonnie’s bedroom. Here’s some very cool and exciting news for Toy Story 4. I’ve been wondering who would replace Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head in the film, but it turns out even though the actor and comedian passed away in 2017, they didn’t have to replace him!
Thant’s right! Director Josh Cooley has announced the voice of Mr. Potato Head will be that of Don Rickles! Now, the actor didn’t record anything for the film before he died, and while it’s not explained how they will be able to use Rickles voice, I imagine that they were able to piece together archived recordings from the first three films.
You can find the announcement below:
“Some people say funny things, I say things funny.” -Don Rickles
All of his pieces may be replaceable, but his voice is not. Honored he signed on for TS4, honored he’s in TS4. pic.

Earlier in the week, a New Trailer dropped for Pixar’s hotly anticipated sequel Toy Story 4. Apologies for not getting to it sooner, but we’re here now. Personally, I’ve long been of two minds about this effort. On the one hand, Toy Story is my favorite animated franchise and some of the finest hours within the Pixar oeuvre. On the other hand, Toy Story 3 wrapped up the series brilliantly, with such a perfect ending it can be almost impossible to duplicate. Well, this Trailer is out and seeks to show why a new outing is necessary. You can see it at the end of the post, as you’d expect, so read on for more on Toy Story 4… The film is the latest installment in the Toy Story franchise. Here, the adventures of our favorite toys continue on, though in a whole new way. Here...

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Bo Peep, and a strange new toy named Forky have returned in the new trailer for “Toy Story 4” that sends the gang out on the road.
Disney unveiled the footage Tuesday with Woody telling the other toys that Forky — a craft-project-turned-toy — is the most important toy to Bonnie. He also tells the self-doubting Forky (voiced by Tony Hale) that he should embrace his role as a toy. “You are the going to create memories that will last for the rest of her life,” he says.
After Bonnie takes all the toys on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with long-lost friend Bo Peep (voiced by Annie Potts). The trailer also introduces three more new toys: pull-string doll Gabby Gabby (Christina Hendricks), stunt doll Duke Caboom (Keanu Reeves), and miniature doll Giggle McDimples (Ally Maki).

The footage screened offers some new information on the character Forky (Tony Hale), who was introduced in the first teaser trailer that was released. Toy Story 4... Bonnie makes Forky at school, Woody introduces him to everyone. They go on a road trip in a Rv, Forky escapes because he wants to be a spork not a toy.

Leave it to Disney to have the last word in the Super Bowl. Right when the Patriots defeated the Rams in what could probably be the blandest Super Bowl, a new sneak peek at Toy Story 4 came in to add some fun and excitement to the mix.
The short, yet enjoyable Super Bowl spot has Woody (Tom Hanks) and Bo Peep (Annie Potts) searching for Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) in what seems like a new town for them. As they enjoy a local carnival, it turns out he is trapped as a prize at one of the games and he is being taunted by new characters Ducky and Bunny played by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele respectively.
Here’s the logline for the new installment of Toy Story 4: Woody has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid,...

Bo Peep is back, along with the rest of the gang in the first official trailer for “Toy Story 4.”
Sporting a new look, complete with a purple cape, a light blue pantsuit, and a much more commanding demeanor, everyone’s favorite porcelain sheepherder is joined by a host of returning characters including Woody, Buzz, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Hamm, and Slinky Dog.
Bo Peep’s updated look isn’t the only new addition to the franchise. Joining the cast is Tony Hale, who’s voicing a new character named Forky – more of an arts and crafts project than a toy – as well as comedy duo Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, who are playing a plush duck and bunny, respectively.
Both appeared in various teasers prior to the trailer, hinting at a much more expanded universe, rife with new toys for the franchises’ classic characters to interact with.

Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and crew are back in the first teaser trailer for Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4.”
The footage released Monday also featured Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, Rex the Dinosaur, Hamm the Piggy Bank, and Slinky the Dog as the characters held hands as Judy Collins’ cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” plays. There’s no dialogue, that is, until a slightly bizarre new character — ananthropomorphic spork named Forky — enters the scene.
Voiced by Tony Hale, Forky yells, “I don’t belong here!” and tries to leave, which causes the other characters to topple over each other. The new movie sees Woody’s owner Bonnie adding Forky, a reluctant new toy (who is actually a spork-turned-craft-project) to her room.
The voice cast includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, and Don Rickles and Estelle Harris as the Potato Heads.

A new plaything joins the old gang for next summer’s Toy Story 4, from Disney Pixar, and this new teaser trailer sets the table for his arrival.
“I don’t belong here,” screams Forky, “I’m not a toy!”.
As the welcoming tones of Judy Collins’ version of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” play out, the familiar pals from the previous films – Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Rex, Slinky Dog, etc. – appear in ring-around-the-rosie style, finally coming to Forky, a plastic utensil child-crafted with pipe-cleaners and google eyes. Chaos follows.
The new character is voiced by comedian Tony Hale (Veep). Says director Josh Cooley, “Like most people, I assumed that Toy Story 3 was the end of the story. And it was the end of Woody’s story with Andy. But just like in life, every ending is a new beginning.
