Could “Suits” be a movie? It’s not out of the question, said star Patrick J. Adams during Sunday’s reunion panel at the Atx TV Festival.
Following a retrospective panel with Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Dulé Hill, Amanda Schull, Abigail Spencer and executive Jeff Wachtel, a fan asked if the cast or creators would ever be interested in a reunion movie. While creator Aaron Korsh couldn’t be there — and is working on the spinoff — he’s interested in it, according to Adams.
“I am a person of no power or authority, but obviously, there’s a ‘Suits: LA‘ show that is being made. That is the focus of Aaron, I think he would agree,” Adams, who played Mike Ross on the legal drama, said. “But it’s definitely something he’s interested in doing, in trying to get the band back together. So it depends on a million things if that can happen,...

As “Suits” continues to overperform as a streaming acquisition on Netflix, the hit legal drama is finally coming to broadcast TV. Primetime programming service MyNetwork TV has picked up an off-network run of “Suits” for this fall, making its broadcast TV debut.
The pickup was announced Monday by Frank Cicha, executive VP of programming for Fox Television Stations. “It’s become increasingly more difficult, if not impossible, to launch obscure product on broadcast TV. ‘Suits’ is arguably the most buzzworthy scripted series of the last half decade, and MyNet looks forward to amplifying its success by introducing it to the broadcast television audience. And we’re discussing some fun ways to do just that.”
“Suits,” created by Aaron Korsh, originally ran on USA Network for nine seasons (and 134 episodes) between 2011 and 2019. NBCUniversal Syndication Studios distributes the series to broadcast; this is believed to be the first time a series started...

“The Walking Dead” actor Josh McDermitt is set to star opposite Steven Amell in NBC’s “Suits” spinoff, “Suits: LA.”
The new series sees Amell star as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who built an L.A. law firm, Black Lane Law, specializing in criminal and entertainment law. The official logline reads, “His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
Described as energetic, powerful and self absorbed, McDermitt will play Stuart Lane, who co-founded Black Lane Law.

We're living a Suits Renaissance!
The former USA Network series that dominated cable television during the golden era of Blue Sky Dramas has found an unprecedented level of success across streaming platforms, building an entirely new audience since the series signed off its original run in 2019.
For those of us Suitors who have been on this ride since the series' inception, it's been exciting to see this cult hit resurge and become a bonafide hit.
What's even more surprising and delightful is seeing how the series that singlehandedly (and ironically) held viewers down during the strikes has sparked a spinoff that has surpassed the talking stages and is actually in the works.
The prospect of a spinoff had Suitors old and new stoked at the chance of recapturing some of the magic of the original series.
Regardless of what those behind the series have stated, we're all still holding out...

Let’s be honest, we’ve seen the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers go head-to-head at the Super Bowl, but what’s always fresh and new are ads that air during the commercial breaks.
From Michael Cera’s partnership with CeraVe to a “Suits” reunion in Judge Judy’s courtroom, there’s truly nothing you can plan to expect from the lineup of Super Bowl commercials. Well, except for maybe another Ben Affleck-Dunkin’ Donuts collaboration, which is now a fan favorite. And who could blame him, the actor was reportedly paid $10 million for his 30-second spot he’s slated to appear in this year.
When the game isn’t on, the Super Bowl commercials keep you occupied and entertained. While some have already aired, there are many more to come as fans lead up to kickoff off on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. Est.

The USA Network drama Suits became a streaming hit last summer after Netflix acquired the first eight seasons. With billions of minutes streamed, it’s no surprise that NBCUniversal would be eager to return to this world that so many people have grown to love. Whispers of a spinoff have been in the air since the show started gaining popularity, but now it’s official – Suits is coming back.
Suits: LA recently received a pilot order from NBCUniversal, and production is slated to begin in late March. However, even though the series will be written and produced by Suits creator Aaron Korsh, as of this moment, none of the original cast members are set to return. Instead, Suits: LA will feature a new cast and primarily follow Ted Black, “a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles.”

Suits is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about shows of 2024, even though it’s been off air for years. With its awe-inspiring renaissance, we’re here to test your knowledge about what was going on behind the scenes of the smash success!
If you were unaware, appreciation for the show hit a fever pitch in 2023. The USA Network TV show received 18 billion minutes of stream time on Netflix in July alone. Unsurprisingly based on those numbers, it wound up being one of the most-watched shows of the year.
The show starred Meghan Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, alongside the likes of Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres and more in an ensemble cast.
The renewed interest is so high, that it was recently announced that a reboot is in the works.

When Suits suddenly became the hottest TV series of the summer — despite coming to an end over four years ago — NBC wasted little time in approaching series creator Aaron Korsh about developing a new spinoff series. Well, the Suits spinoff has now been given an official pilot order from NBC, as well as a title: Suits: L.A.
Suits: L.A. will follow Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. “His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career,” reads the official description. “Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. Okay, maybe the summer of "Suits" wasn't a fluke after all. Less than a year after the long-running USA Network legal drama took Netflix by storm, raking in some of the streamers' biggest viewership numbers in recent memory, NBC has ordered a pilot for a "Suits" spinoff set in Los Angeles (per Entertainment Weekly).
EW is reporting that the new "Suits" series -- which, in the style of many a procedural spinoff before it, is titled "Suits: LA" -- will feature a brand new character named Ted Black, and production on the pilot is set to begin in Vancouver next month. Original series creator Aaron Korsh is returning to write and executive produce the show, while EW also previously reported that cast members from the previous series could return at some point in the future.

An expansion of the Suits universe is now closer than ever.
NBC has given a pilot order to Suits: L.A. from Aaron Korsh, the creator and writer of the original series, which is set to begin production in late March in Vancouver. As Deadline revealed exclusively on Thursday, Victoria Mahoney will direct and executive produce the offshoot.
Suits: L.A. would not be a reboot or revival but more like a new chapter in the vein of the CSI and NCIS franchises featuring new characters in a new location.
According to the project’s logline, Suits: L.A. is centered on Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.

Eli Roth’s slasher Thanksgiving is now available on DVD and Blu-ray, and fans of the film will be happy to hear that a sequel is already on the way. Sony’s TriStar plans on releasing Thanksgiving 2 in theaters worldwide in 2025, we learned late last year. Eli Roth and Jeff Rendell are back to write the screenplay for the upcoming sequel.
“We’re gonna take a year off so we can really, really write a great script. We want to outdo ourselves. Make it better than the first one,” Roth teased back in November.
So what can we expect from Thanksgiving 2? Will it be a direct sequel to the first film, following the surviving characters? Or will Roth pivot to a new slasher story entirely?
Well, chatting with Games Radar this week, Thanksgiving stars Nell Verlaque and Rick Hoffman both strongly suggest they’ll be back in Roth’s upcoming sequel.

Sixteen years passed from the time Eli Roth made a slasher faux trailer called Thanksgiving for the Robert Rodriguez / Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse to the day when a feature version of Thanksgiving (read our review Here) finally made its way into theatres – and the fact that we’re being rewarded for our patience with not just that movie, but also a sequel that’s expected to reach theatres sometime in 2025 is truly something to be thankful about. Now Thanksgiving cast members Nell Verlaque and Rick Hoffman have confirmed to Games Radar that they are going to be coming back for Thanksgiving 2!
When asked if she’ll be in the sequel Roth is crafting with Thanksgiving co-writer Jeff Rendell, Verlaque said, “To my knowledge, yes. I think that it’ll be a continuation of where we last saw (her character). So we’ll see. But right now, I think so.

Sony is bringing Eli Roth’s long-awaited slasher Thanksgiving (read our review Here, check out our interview with Roth at This Link) back to theatre screens, and they’re not waiting for the Thanksgiving holiday to do it. Our friends at Bloody Disgusting report that Thanksgiving, which was just released to theatres for the first time back in November, will be returning to more than 500 theatres this weekend. The movie already received a digital release last week, so presumably this theatrical boost is meant to promote Blu-ray and DVD release that’s coming on January 30th.

With the Thanksgiving holiday very much in the rearview at this point, TriStar Pictures has made the decision to bring Eli Roth’s slasher Thanksgiving back to theaters this weekend.
Why, you ask? Is it an attempt to drum up interest in the sequel that’s headed our way? Or does TriStar just really, really want the movie to hit $50 million worldwide at the box office?
The likely reason for the post-holiday season re-release is that Roth’s Thanksgiving comes to DVD and Blu-ray on January 30, so a return to theaters could help drum up some additional interest in that physical media release. The film has thus far slashed its way into $31.8 million domestically and $46 million worldwide, so we’ll see how much it gains this weekend.
The film will be playing in a reported 511 theaters across the country this weekend. If you missed it last year on the big screen and regretted it,...

Eli Roth’s gory and twisted slasher Thanksgiving is yours to own on DVD and Blu-Ray next month. More details here:
Thanksgiving was one of the bigger surprises of 2023, especially after an uneven year of horror films. Released relatively late in the year, Thanksgiving was met with a lot of positive buzz, including from us.
We wrote in our review that “Thanksgiving is probably the best no-budget, straight-to-streaming, goofy horror flick you’ve ever seen – except it’s distributed by a major studio.”
Thanksgiving follows a town terrorised by a serial killer in a pilgrim costume. Patrick Dempsey, Nell Verlaque, Addison Rae, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Milo Manheim and Rick Hoffman star.
Well, if you missed Roth’s gloriously gory film in the cinemas or you’re just a big fan of physical media, you can buy the disc version of Thanksgiving very soon. The film is due to be released...

“Suits” hasn’t been on the air in four years, but the fandom remains stronger than ever. Cast members Patrick J. Adams and Gabriel Macht reunited at the 81st annual Golden Globes on Sunday night’s red carpet; they were later joined onstage to present together with costars Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty.
Speaking with Et at the Golden Globes Pre-Show presented by Variety, Adams and Macht commented on the massive success the show recently experienced on Netflix. The duo starred as Mike Ross and Harvey Specter on the beloved legal drama.
“It’s an amazing thing,” Macht said. “We had some great success when the show was on. All over the world, there were people downloading it, pirating, downloading it. At a certain point, Netflix came in and said, ‘Why don’t we put this out there.’ And it’s just gotten incredible eyes. And we’re very grateful for it.

The “Suits” buzz continues! Gabriel Macht and Patrick Adams, who portrayed Harvey Spector and Michael Ross, respectively, on the USA Network series, will be presenting at the 81st Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
“Suits,” produced by UCP, originally aired for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019. Adams and Macht starred alongside Rick Hoffman, Meghan Markle, Gina Torres and Sarah Rafferty. Sources tell Variety that other cast members were invited to present as well.
Although the legal drama was successful during its initial run, even launching a spinoff, “Pearson,” it reentered the cultural conversation this year when the first eight seasons began streaming on Netflix. (It was already available on Peacock.) Since it arrived on the streaming giant, it topped the charts for multiple weeks, even breaking a record with the most-ever No. 1 appearances on Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10 chart.

This post contains spoilers for the series finale of "Suits."
Suits" ran for nine whole seasons, and the show's finale was a bittersweet one. A lot of loose ends were tied up, core characters had to make some difficult choices, and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) settled a final score with Faye Richardson (Denise Crosby) in an attempt to loosen her grasp over the firm. There were two weddings — one was expected, while the other was a surprise — and the story ended on a rather positive note for Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Harvey, who decide to work together as a unit in Seattle. Now, four years after the series finale aired, fans of the show continue to express their love for the prolonged journey shared with the beloved characters and how these stories culminated into something meaningful.
Nothing about the series finale was last-minute, as "Suits" creator Aaron Korsh preplanned respective character routes very early on.

Rick Hoffman is an accomplished American actor who has come a long way from his days of waiting tables in New York City. Currently considered among the strong forces on television, Hoffman began his journey to fame by playing small roles while doing menial jobs to make ends meet. Landing the role of Freddie Sacker on The $treet (2000) prompted him to quit his job as a waiter and move to Los Angeles, a move that proved to be right up his alley. After launching his career with a security guard role in Conspiracy Theory, Rick Hoffman gradually built a...

Rick Hoffman may not be a leading man actor, but his intense, in-depth performances easily stand him out from others. Whether it’s a few minutes of screen time or an extended supporting role, Hoffman is always a delight to watch. Interestingly, as of 2000, Rick Hoffman was still waiting tables in New York City and hoping for a big break. Although his lead role in The $treet (2000) was short-lived after the show was canceled, it was the needed breakout for his career. Over the years, Hoffman has raked up credits in film and television. However, he’s mostly known for...

Eli Roth’s long-awaited slasher Thanksgiving (read our review Here, check out our interview with Roth at This Link) can still be found playing in some theaters, but it also received a PVOD release earlier this week, and you can rent or buy it on Amazon. To help entice you to check out the full film, the first 10 minutes of the movie have been posted online – and you can watch them in the embed above!
Thanksgiving is a feature expansion of the faux trailer Roth made for the Robert Rodriguez / Quentin Tarantino double feature Grindhouse sixteen years ago. Roth has been wanting to make a feature version of Thanksgiving ever since he made the faux trailer, and even wrote the screenplay with Jeff Rendell (who played the homicidal pilgrim in the trailer) a dozen years ago. The feature has happened thanks to Spyglass Media stepping in to provide the funding.
