- At age 7, she was involved in a serious car accident and lost the sight of her left eye. Her sight in the eye was eventually restored.
- Pretty, dark-haired minor actress who, following a number of chorus girl parts in Warner Bros. musical films, signed up with RKO in 1936, retiring from films in 1938 after marrying William Crowell of the Crowell Publishing Company. She and Crowell later divorced and she married press agent Robert Husey.
