Bill Paxton is ready to battle Xenomorphs one more time in director Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5, if asked.
It has already been confirmed that Sigourney Weaver will reprise her role as Ripley, while Michael Biehn is also expected to be back as Corporal Dwayne Hicks.
Paxton admitted to Entertainment Weekly that he is not entirely familiar with Blomkamp's plans for Alien 5, but would be interested in coming back as his Aliens character Private William Hudson.
"I mean, if you're going to bring Hicks back, you've got to have Hudson," he declared.
Blomkamp has previously described his movie as a direct sequel to Aliens, although he has stressed that it will not ignore events in the later films either.
Alien 5 is currently scheduled to premiere in 2016. Watch Blomkamp and Weaver discuss the film with Digital Spy below:...

We've been doing that all week long here on FEARnet, and we've thus far taken a look at the best horror movies, television episodes, albums, board games and video games of the year.
Today, it’s all about toys. 2013 was a huge year for the world of horror toys, and quite frankly I don’t think I’m out of line in saying that it was one of the very best years us horror fans/toy collectors have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. My personal collection is looking better than ever as we round out the year, and that’s all thanks to the incredible releases we were given this year.
In no particular order, here are my picks for the...

Linda Harvey attends Pride, fears AIDS, David Hasselhoff shills for coffee, Andrew Keenan-Bolger hits the right notes in his skivvies.
Tim Hardaway was the first signer of the Florida marriage equality petition. Hardaway made headlines a few years ago saying that he didn’t like gay people and was homophobic. He did some image rehab to become an equality supporter after the backlash. On a side note, I met him a few times when I was working in Florida, and found him to be a very unpleasant man. While I appreciate the support, based on personal experience, I’m not buying it.
A 20-year-old man is in jail after shooting a man at the St. Peteresburg Pride festival. He came to Pride to let the gays know exactly what he thought of him before shooting a man with a Bb gun. Thankfully, the victim wasn’t seriously injured.

To mark the launch of its new game, Stratego Sci-Fi has surveyed more than 2,000 Britons to chart the Stratego Sci-Fi 100 – the nation’s top 100 stars of the sci-fi world – as well as a separate poll charting the best sci-fi battles from the silver screen – and has crowned Superman the greatest sci-fi character of all time
Following up the Man of Steel in 2nd place in the Stratego Sci-Fi 100 was Harrison Ford’s gruff but lovable rogue Han Solo, with Frank Oz’s jedi master Yoda coming third, both representing Star Wars in the top three and rounding it out firmly in George Lucas’ favour. Steven Spielberg’s E.T may be one of the most lovable characters of all time, but only made it to fourth in the list, followed by Will Smith’s Agent Jay from the hugely popular Men in Black series at number five.
