Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Tina Humphreys has admitted that her 12 year old dancing dog Chandi was a bit bewildered by the cheering audience on Tuesday night’s semi final sow.
Tina and Chandi wowed the judges with their routine and prompted Simon Cowell to declare “I love her!” (about the dog, not the owner). However Tina has since admitted that the experience was an exhausting one for poor old Chandi. She told The Daily Mail:
‘I would never do anything with Chandi that would jeopardise her well-being.
‘I am absolutely shattered and so is Chandi. The live show was an exhausting experience.
‘The pressure of live television and only getting one shot at making it right was a lot for us both to cope with. It was a big enough ordeal for me to cope with so it was even tougher for Chandi.

Tina and Chandi made their much awaited return to the Britain’s Got Talent stage tonight.
Tina Humphreys and her dancing dog impressed the judges at her Birmingham audition, with their ballet routine and after they performed Piers Morgan gushed:
“I wish Simon was here today because he would have absolutely loved that, you are the most talented dog I have ever seen on this show. I will vote twice, once on my behalf and once on Simon’s.”
So the pressure was on tonight to impress Mr C in person!
As the pair emerged on stage we nearly shed a tear at Tina’s shaking hands, we thought she would actually drop her brolly at one point. But her nerves were misplaced, Tina and Chandi were tighter than some of the dance troupes on tonight’s show. And isn’t it lovely to see such synergy between a human and an animal?...

Britain’s Got Talent hopeful Tina Humphreys has admitted that she is nervous about performing in front of Simon Cowell for the first time.
Tina and her dancing dog Chandi auditioned in Birmingham for Amanda Holden, Piers Morgan and Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell was absent from the panel due to illness. However, Piers Morgan loved the act and gave them two yeses, one from him and one from animal loving Simon, who he was sure would have loved Chandi’s routine.
After hearing Simon complain about Louis Walsh’s rubbish choices during his stint, Tina told The Sun:
“I am very anxious to see what he thinks of us.
“But I am feeling positive that Simon said he would like a dog to win.”
Tina also claims that Chandi is fully aware of the importance of tonight.
She added: “I treat her as if she is a person. She understands without a doubt.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has admitted that he is backing Tina Humphreys and her dancing dog Chandi to win this season of the show.
The pair impressed the judges with their choreographed routine on an earlier audition show and Simon Cowell has already admitted that he would like to find the new Lassie in 2010.
When asked about his predictions for the live shows this year, Piers Morgan told The News Of The World:
“If I had to put money on a winner it would be Chandi the dancing dog.”
“And I like Kevin Cruise, Spelbound and Arrangement.
“Whatever happens, the winner is guaranteed a worldwide profile. We are the best example of unexposed people doing well.
“We change ordinary people’s lives, and that’s why I love this show.”
