Exclusive: UK sales outfit in step with documentary about the young Britain’s Got Talent finalists.
UK sales outfit 4SquareFilms has boarded international sales on Big Dance Family, a fly-on-the-wall documentary about under-16s street dance troupe and Britain’s Got Talent 2015 finalists Entity Allstars.
The feature was shot over nine months, following the troupe from training to international competitions including the street dance World Championship.
Debbie Shuter and Adam Tysoe of Insight Films co-direct and produce the film, which will get a first screening at the American Film Market (Afm) (Nov 4-11).
The duo said: “Entity’s infectious passion and complete dedication are captivating and their story is a real emotional rollercoaster that reveals the grass roots experience behind such hits as Street Dance and Step Up.
“It’s a universal tale of the battle against adversity, an exciting and feel-good film for all the family.”

The company is allied with Bart Ruspoli and Freddie Hutton-Mills’ UK production companies Next Level Films and Atomic Level Films under the umbrella of Merlin Pictures Group, headed by Martin Irusta.
Among the new company’s first titles are completed drama Electricity, starring Agyness Deyn, horror The Gathering, and sci-fi Genesis.

Manifest Film Sales, the newly re-branded sales arm of Intandem Media Group, has clocked sales on Danny Dyer thriller Vendetta.
The Richwater Films production has sold to North America (Inception), Germany (Universum), Japan (Klockworx), Middle East (Falcon Films), Poland (Vitra Film), Korea (J&J Media), Greece (Odeon), Scandinavia (Another World), Turkey (Sinema) and Benelux (Premiere TV).
Vendetta stars Dyer, Vincent Regan and Ricci Harnett in the story of a special ops interrogation officer who tracks down the gang who killed his parents.
The film was recently released by Anchor Bay in the UK.

Intandem Films has announced that it will now trade as Intandem Media Group, following a planned strategic review.
The Group will have three operating divisions following the addition of a digital marketing division to complement its sales and distribution offerings:
Manifest Film Sales Ltd will be headed up by Andrew Brown and Billy Hurman and will focus on sourcing film projects and finance and international sales.
Jj Distribution (named after former colleague Jj Donovan who passed away recently) is the distribution arm and will be overseen by Group CEO Robert Mitchell.
