Peter E. Jackson was born in Deep River, Ontario, Canada and raised in
Berkeley, CA. and received a B.A. in Radio and Television
Communications from San Francisco State University in 1980. Upon
graduation, Peter worked as a Television News Producer for a CBS
affiliate in the mid-west and an ABC affiliate on the west coast. After
working on 20th Century Fox's "War Of The Roses", he went on to be an
Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager and Line Producer.
With over 25 years of production experience in motion pictures, Peter
has worked on production budgets ranging from a low of $150 Thousand
Dollars to $30 Million Dollars. He has fostered relationships with many
seasoned professionals from Actors and Agents to Attorneys and Film
Executives and has knowledge of all agreements with DGA, WGA, SAG,
IATSE, Teamsters as well as Deal Memos and Contracts.
Since January 2000, Peter has been a member of the Directors Guild of
America and Co-Chair of the DGA AD/UPM Mentor Committee (2009-2015).
