Jonathan Justice is a native South Carolinian and attended the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead Scholar.
While at Chapel Hill, Jonathan studied creative writing under notable
Southern author, Doris Betts, as well as Bland Simpson of the Red Clay
Ramblers. In addition, he studied poetry writing under James Seay.
Jonathan's chief foray into feature film was as the Assistant to the Producer on "The Grave," a film by the Josh and Jonas Pate. Following his stint on set, Jonathan authored a number of un-produced screenplays, including "Breaking into Amy's," "Red Rover, Red Rover," "The Cowpasture Assembly," and "Two Ensigns, a Bottle of Rum and a Shark's Head."
After exploring the film business, Jonathan worked as a press secretary and field director on U.S. Senate campaign and then for two years as an English and History teach at an inner-city high school in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In the late 1990s, Jonathan took a business development position with Sotheby's auction house in New York, and has spent the last 20 years in the wealth advisory industry with tenures at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, Wells Fargo Private Bank, U.S. Trust, and SunTrust Private Wealth Management, where he presently runs a wealth advisory and private banking practice.
