- Howard Katz was born in 1949 in Livingston, New Jersey, USA. He is a producer and production manager, known for Stroh's Circle of Sports (1985), Games People Play (1980) and Orange Bowl Parade (1985).
- He is the Senior Vice President of Broadcasting and Media Operations for the NFL (National Football League) where he oversees the formation of the schedule and selects prime time games. He has been Senior Vice President of ESPN Network and the President of ABC Sports. Sports Illustrated magazine named him one of the NFL's biggest power brokers.
- He was inducted into the 2014 New Jersey Hall of Fame in the Enterprise Category.
