NEW YORK -- Former ABC Sports president Howard Katz has landed his next gig, and he will be working in familiar territory as chief operating officer at NFL Films. Katz will work closely with Steve Bornstein, his mentor at ESPN and ABC Sports during the 1990s, in helping to shape the league's NFL Network, which launches in the fall. Bornstein is executive vp at the NFL and heads the proposed network, which has a deal with DirecTV.
