- Sept.-Oct. 2004 - Directs "As It Is in Heaven" for the University of Illinois Department of Theatre. Arlene Hutton's play is about a stranger who enters a Shaker community of nine women in 1838 Kentucky with claims of seeing angels.

Rode) in the cast. Jon Jory was director.
