Credited as discovering and launching the careers of young puppeteers
Kevin Clash and Todd Stockman on a local kids show called Caboose in the late
seventies on WMAR-TV, Baltimore.
He was drafted and served in the Northern-most regions of the Korean
War and his company saw many casualties.
Known to generations of Baltimore area TV viewers as: the Night Janitor
(1950s), Mr. Fortune (1960s), Bozo the Clown (1960s), Professor Kool
(1970s), and Wormy the Word Whiz (1980s) at WMAR-TV (1952-1981).
His grandson Dan Gvozden worked under Kevin Clash on the 39th and 40th seasons of Sesame Street and continues his grandfather's tradition of making comedic entertainment as a filmmaker.
