TBS is revisiting Dinner and a Movie, its classic cooking and entertainment show that ran for 16 years on the network.
TBS is reviving the show, in which two celebrity hosts show a movie and prepare a dish related to the film. Kathleen Finch, Chairman and Chief Content Officer of Warner Bros. Discovery’s U.S. Networks Group, announced the remake Wednesday during the company’s Upfront presentation in NYC.
There are few details, but the remake will again feature celebrities watching and commenting on movies and making a dish that is somehow thematically connected to the film.
The original Dinner and a Movie aired on TBS from 1995-2011. Each episode included a movie and the preparation of a creative dinner to go with its theme. One previous episode featured the film Drumline with a recipe titled “The Beets Go On”, a reference to the Sonny & Cher single “The Beat Goes...

This past May, TLC delivered a sneak peek of Labor Games, a game show where comedian-host Lisa Arch surprises parents-to-be in the delivery room, giving them the opportunity to win some cool swag (and maybe even a $10,000 college scholarship) for their little bundle of joy. The sneak peek must have been successful: Labor Games returns to TLC tonight at 8pm Et/Pt (7pm Ct). If, after their initial surprise and agreement to play along, the parents-to-be can answer all of the questions before the baby crowns, they’re crowned the winners of Labor Games. (Okay, that’s not quite accurate. I don’t … Continue reading →

On Friday (Jan. 29), after shooting an episode of her Style Network show, "The Dish," Danielle Fishel sat down with her guest-star for the day, Lisa Arch, host of Style's "What I Hate About Me" (and occasional guest-host of the network's "Clean House") and talked red-carpet yeas, nays and hell-nays with The Dish Rag.
On disappointments from the Golden Globes ...
Fishel: "I really did not like Chloe Sevigny's dress. She was so offended that the rain had hit her dress, and I was like, 'That rain could only make it better. It could only add attraction to her dress.' That idea of a full ruffle, top to bottom of your body, kind of horrifies me, in fashion."
Arch: "I totally agree with you. And somebody stepped on her dress, too, and she flipped! I laughed. But I love her on 'Big Love.' But I was really disappointed in Julia Roberts.

The Style Network is about to embark on an adventure in constructive self-loathing as the Comcast-owned cable channel gets ready to launch "What I Hate About Me."
Hosted by Style personality Lisa Arch ("Clean House"), "What I Hate About Me" is an unconventional makeover show that challenges women to address the 10 aspects of their lives they dislike the most. Along with the obligatory complaints about cellulite and relationships, the women who appear on the show will look to get a handle on everything from intra-family dynamics to the way they manage their financial affairs.
After each guest lays bare the things she can't abide in herself, Arch and a rotating panel of experts (including boxer Laila Ali, nutritionist Rachel Beller and radio host Emily Morse) will attempt to devise pragmatic solutions to some of the more vexing problems.
Style has ordered 10 one-hour episodes, the first of which debuts at 9 p.
