Never make a blood oath. It's a rule of thumb we should all follow!
Clary should know better than to have made a deal blindly. After the events on Shadowhunters Season 2 Episode 9, I don't think she ever will.
It nearly killed her and hurt everyone.
"Bound by Blood" played on the theme of curses and forced motivations.
I liked that these characters, while flawed but genuinely nice people, had a looming threat forcing their choices. More often than not it was for a bad reason. They had no choice but to come to a decision.
Clary going through the blood oath put everything into perspective for her. Life and death aren't so simple. And her life impacts everyone if she touches the sword.
I loved the subtle coincidence of the curse starting to affect her hand. It was a great reminder of the dangerous power she holds. She could destroy worlds with a single touch.

Have you finished watching “3%,” Netflix’s first original series from Brazil and one of the more intriguing dystopian thrillers we’ve seen in a while? Then keep reading. Our initial review of “3%” was deliberately kept spoiler-free, but people are discovering “3%” every day, and some of the biggest ideas presented by the series are worth discussing a bit more in depth… especially that final episode. Boy, did it make an impact.
Spoiler-Free Review: Season 1 of Brazil’s ‘Hunger Games’ Finds Its Own Voice
[Editor’s note: spoilers for “3%,” through the finale, below.]
The first season, created by Pedro Aguilera and directed by Cesar Charlone, tracks a group of 20-year-olds who are attempting to complete a brutal selection ritual that will elevate them from the slums of a ruined world to the Offshore, a place of abundance and plenty. The whole time, we’d been noticing the prominently displayed vaccination scars of those select few who’d already succeeded in completing The Process,...

With all four of the heroes in a half-shell lined up with Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Pete Ploszek will play Leonardo, Jeremy Howard will play Donatello and Noel Fisher will take the role of Michaelangelo, the new iteration of Ninja Turtles has been looking for the teenage mutants' wise leader. Now Deadline has word that the search is over with "Seinfeld" veteran and Watchmen star Danny Woodburn taking on the role of Master Splinter in the live-action/CG hybrid film from director Jonathan Liebesman. You might not know Woodburn by name, but you'll undoubtedly recognize him from plenty of movies and TV series. Read on! Woodburn is easily recognizable because he's one of the few more notable dwarf actors in Hollywood with roles ranging from Jingle All the Way to Death to Smoochy, not to mention TV appearances on "Party Down" and "CSI." Woodburn is a good enough actor, but...

Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo and Raphael have all been found, but the cast of Ninja Turtles continues to grow as Danny Woodburn joins the reboot as 'Master Splinter'. He plays the mentor to the four heroes and recently starred in Mirror, Mirror and Watchmen. The live action/CG mashup is set to be released on June 6th, 2014. Michael Bay is producing what promises to be a very different take on the iconic franchise, while Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles) will direct.

This is part two of a three-part series looking at the season 6 story of Castiel. Part 1 - It's About the Souls
12.00 Normal 0 false false false En-us X-none X-none
“Saving people, hunting things – the family business.” – Dean (1.2)
“You can save us, Castiel. God chose you to save us. ” – Crowley (6.20)
“So, you see, I saved you.” – Cas to Dean (6.22)
When I heard that Ben Edlund was quoted as saying Dean and Cas's relationship was like a “long-distance marriage,” I laughed. But I also thought it was an odd thing to say. Dean and Cas were without doubt close friends, but the term “marriage” implies a closeness that I hadn’t seen. With Sam and Dean – sure. They’re the two who can’t seem to be apart for long. But Cas and Dean? But the part of the phrase that really made me pause was “long-distance.” Cas has been busy, and I suppose Heaven is far away,...

Carry On My Wayward Soooooon
Ah, here we go. So let's see what we had this season – Cas got Sam out of the cage, and had no soul for a year, in which he worked with Samuel and did some nasty crap. Dean found out Sam's alive, left theBraedens to hunt with him. They worked for Crowley to get Sam's soul back, which eventually happened, but thanks to Death. He put up a wall in Sam's head so he won't remember hell or the past year.
Dean and Sam hunted down Eve, the Mother of all Monsters, and killed her, but no before finding out Crowley, who they thought was killed by Cas, is alive and working with Cas. They're both searching for purgatory to get some souls, so Cas can be powerful enough to beat Raphael, and Crowley can…Just be more powerful, since he's now king of Hell.
