Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) helps a friend make amends. Check out the photo above of Red and Cooper (Harry Lennix) in this episode. Then, in “Blair Foster,” when a corrupt lawyer is linked to a string of corporate cover-ups, Red helps the team investigate her operation.

The Blacklist Season 10 Episode 3
In typical The Blacklist fashion, “The Four Guns” doesn’t refer to firearms. Rather, the four individuals who are on Raymond Reddington’s (James Spader) blacklist this week are goniffs, Yiddish for “thieves.” These are not your run of the mill pickpockets. After all, they move through Senator Cynthia Panabaker’s (Deirdre Lovejoy) re-election speech at the park as an “apex predator,” a single organism of coordinated effort that manages to deftly swipe two guns, a radio, and a cell phone off of the two Secret Service men tasked with protecting Panabaker from malcontents. One of those secret service weapons is the one that fires at Panabaker but hits one of her agents in the shoulder instead.
A goniff is not a murderer, but a sly trickster who takes what belongs to another while fearing flesh and blood and eluding discovery at all cost.

"We want to sue the police... but we need witnesses." Gravitas Ventures has released an official trailer for an indie film titled Spiked, from filmmaker Juan Vera Martinez. He was inspired to make the film after hearing real-life stories of immigrants suffering abuse of power from law enforcement agencies some 20-years ago and incredibly moved by how relevant these stories are today as immigrant families continue to grapple with inhumane and unjust treatment over and over. When the murder of a migrant worker shakes a southwest border town to its core, the feud between a newspaper owner and the chief of police leads to the blurring of the truth and a dirty fight for justice. The film stars Aidan Quinn, Deirdre Lovejoy, Carlos Gomez, Danay Garcia, Wendy Makkena, Lovensky Jean-Baptiste, Walter Belenky, Sal Lopez, and Christopher Rich. It looks like a powerful drama about the struggles of many immigrants these days.

Not only does he have superpowers — the abilities to, among other things, move objects with his mind, teleport, and heal the sick — but at age seven going on eight, he sees the world with a simple morality in which everyone is good or bad, heroes or villains. And Dion’s mom Nicole has raised him to be a sweet kid who of course can only imagine himself as a hero.

She’s won an Oscar. She’s won a Tony. Can she now win an Emmy? Catherine Zeta-Jones is on the 2018 Emmy ballot for Lifetime’s telefilm “Cocaine Godmother: The Griselda Blanco Story,” in which she portrays a real-life drug dealer in the trafficking industry. A year ago the idea of Zeta-Jones coming to television seemed far-fetched, but then she took on the iconic role of Olivia de Havilland in Ryan Murphy‘s “Feud: Bette and Joan.” Zeta-Jones didn’t earn any Emmy love for that project, but might she receive a nomination for “Cocaine Godmother”?
Zeta-Jones prevailed at the Oscars for Best Supporting Actress for “Chicago” (2002), while her Tony came for Best Actress in a Musical for “A Little Night Music” (2010). Should she win an Emmy, she’d join the esteemed triple crown of acting club that includes such legends as Maggie Smith, Jessica Lange and Al Pacino. It...

Well, that was apropos.
It was profiler versus profiler on NCIS: New Orleans Season 4 Episode 21.
And that left the other three agents back at headquarters trying to make sense of it all, not a good look.
After spending a good part of the season mostly in the background, Gregorio was put back in the spotlight.
Both Sebastian and Pride agreed that Gregorio hadn't been herself lately.
Since her Bff and roommate Percy left on NCIS: New Orleans Season 4 Episode 19, Gregorio has let things slip a bit, at least in her personal life.
Her apartment was trashed, which was out of character, since, as Ocd Sebastian pointed out, she's usually more of a neatnik than he is. She also didn't bother to lock her door.
Gregorio's partaking of New Orleans' club life, although, based on Brooklyn, it's hard to fault her taste in pickups. She gave a real "guy" reaction...

Continuing our weekly look at "Orange Is the New Black" season 3, two episodes at a time, I have a review of episodes 5 & 6 coming up just as soon as I tell you how I really feel about red velvet... "She's invisible." -Chang's brother Once again, "Orange" offers a pair of episodes that make for a matched set, spotlighting two characters from waaaaay down on the end of the bench — or, in Chang's case, a few rows back in the stands — whose stories in both past and present are largely about how often they're overlooked. Flaca's always been more prominent than Chang, in that she and Maritza are one of the show's go-to pairings for idiot savant Greek chorus action. But she's still been a pretty minor part of her own social group, let alone of the entire series, and it's a position she's well aware of. We see in the flashbacks...

We've come to the end of this trip through "Orange Is the New Black" season 2. Thoughts on the final three episodes, and season 2 as a whole, coming up just as soon as I buy a banjolele on Craigslist... "Feeling our feelings might actually make it impossible to survive in here." -Poussey For the sake of this experiment of trying to review a Netflix show as if it were distributed more traditionally, I tried not to get too far ahead of what I was reviewing. And watching at that two at a time pace, I was still enjoying the season a lot, but not feeling quite as bewitched by it as I was in season 1. Then I got to the end of episode 10, with Pornstache's arrest, and decided I just wanted to keep going, unwritten rules of the project be damned, and I wound up watching the season's final five episodes within 24 hours of each other.

We're getting close to the end of our run through "Orange Is the New Black" season 2, and I have thoughts on episodes 9 & 10 coming up just as soon as I do a burlesque routine with a Ray Romano puppet that's surprisingly sexy... "That woman in there: that's not who you are." -Piper's dad "That's exactly who I am." -Piper With Piper getting 48 hours in the real world in "40 Oz. of Furlough," then being the flashback subject in "Little Mustachioed Shit," it would have been very easy for her to take over the show again. But Jenji Kohan and company have been doing this a while now, and they've figured out how to balance the season's major plotline — which has nothing to do with Piper — with pushing forward the leading lady's character arc. It's a nifty trick, that provides something for everyone. In fact, "40 Oz. of Furlough" feels like an episode that offers two flashbacks in one,...

It’s finally time for Piper (Taylor Schilling) to get a glimpse of freedom during her furlough to go to her grandmother’s wake and funeral. No one is used to this new Piper, who drinks alcohol while on furlough even though her father warns her that she’s not supposed to drink. Piper wants to have sex with Larry (Jason Biggs), but is devastated when she finds out he had sex with someone else and it’s someone she knows. The two agree that they love each other but that their relationship may really be over this time. After leaving her grandmother’s funeral, where her brother decided was a good time to get married, Piper pays Red’s (Kate Mulgrew) old business a visit. Upon arrival, Piper finds that Red’s store has closed and is for lease. While her furlough time begins to run out, Piper buys...

The article below contains spoilers for "Flo," the March 2nd, 2014 episode of "Girls." "Flo" marks the second visit death has paid to "Girls" this season, and this time it's not in a way that's going to leave Hannah (Lena Dunham) blithely emotionally unaffected. Directed by Richard Shepard ("Dom Hemingway"), who also helmed last week's episode "Incidentals," and written by cartoonist and "Six Feet Under" alum Bruce Eric Kaplan, "Flo" brought Hannah to the hospital to unite with her mother Loreen (Becky Ann Baker), her aunts Margo (Deirdre Lovejoy, from "The Wire") and Sissy (Amy Morton) and her cousin Rebecca (Sarah Steele) at the deathbed of the grandmother of the title, played by the wonderful "Nebraska" Oscar nominee June Squibb. That's one hell of a collection of actresses, and Kaplan, who scripted the season two's far less successful Jessa-centric family visit episode "Video Games," gave them plenty to work with in...

On Sunday night's all new Girls, Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham) dealt with a subject the show has yet to seriously broach: death.
June Squibb, who was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Nebraska, played Hannah Horvath’s dying grandmother, Flo, on an episode of Girls that aired Sunday night opposite the Oscars.
It wasn’t your typical Girls episode as Marnie (Allison Williams), Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) all had the same amount of screen time in this episode: none.
The episode, which took place outside of New York City and Brooklyn, had a much more serious tone than an average Girls episode.
Hannah’s aunt, Margo (Deirdre Lovejoy), is the first to greet Hannah when she arrives at the hospital. (Lovejoy played Rhonda Pearlman in HBO’s The Wire.) Later, Hannah’s mother (Becky Ann Baker) makes a strange request: she asks...

A review of tonight's "Girls" coming up just as soon as Chachi means what I think it means... "Girls" is about Hannah Horvath's adventures as a woman in her early-mid 20s, and all the exciting and terrifying things that go along with that time of your life. But just because she's on her own, living with her boyfriend, hanging out with her friends, working at a job and (mostly) doing what she wants, she still has roots, still has a family she's tied up in, and one of the smartest things "Girls" has done — and done consistently — is to remind us of where Hannah came from and how that shaped her. The show has done fairly well with family in general — we've also met Marnie's mom, Jessa's dad and Adam's sister — and this year got some good mileage out of Gaby Hoffmann as Adam's sister, but this is Hannah's show,...

We've already seen how Hannah handles death with the mid-season episodes "Dead Inside" and "Only Child"—with what can best be described as cool detachment with a spoonful of selfishness tossed into the mix. It's a reaction that could perhaps be chalked up to her age, where death is distant reality, or seen in this week's "Flo," a learned behaviour from a dysfunctional family that bickers over the fate of heirlooms as a grandmother lays on her death bed. With Flo (June Squibb) laid up in the hospital battling pneumonia from which she may not recover, Hannah is called by her mother (Becky Ann Baker) to come as soon as possible to see her grandmother before she passes away. And so, in the grand tradition of upper-tier "Girls" episodes, the format is shaken up, with this one taking place out of town and focused entirely on Hannah. She arrives to...

Tom Hanks would make his Broadway debut only in a special play, and any play written by Nora Ephron is.
Those are just facts, and at its essence, this is a play about facts. Any piece about newspapers and a true newspaperman is about facts.
"Lucky Guy," which has already been extended to July 3, regularly causes pedestrian gridlock on 44th St. when the audience lets out at the Broadhurst Theatre and people queue up to see Hanks.
The play captures a great time in newspapers. It was such a great time and it is so well replicated on stage that it's hard to divorce that and see just the play. Even though this is Ephron's final play and Hanks' first Broadway appearance, it is not an excellent play. It is, though, incredible fun, particularly for those of us lucky enough to have lived some of it.

Broadhurst theatre, New York
Nora Ephron's Lucky Guy is a profane love letter to the lost, rollicking world of New York tabloid journalism. It is also a tribute to its real-life fallen son, the brash reporter Mike McAlary, who received the Pulitzer prize for his muckraking exposures of the New York police department shortly before he died of cancer aged 41. Tom Hanks, sporting a red tint in his hair and a bottlebrush that some might call a moustache, plays McAlary for this, his Broadway debut, striding the Broadhurst stage like a brazen colossus in a series of bad suits.
The play spans 1985 to 1998 and a gritty, murder-riven New York barely recognisable today. It charts McAlary's rise from lowly hack to star columnist. It also shows several career lows – tawdry squabbles with colleagues, a drink-driving accident, the gross mishandling of a rape case.
Simple arithmetic suggests that as the play...

It’s hard to believe that Tom Hanks has never been on Broadway before. But the two-time Oscar winner will make his debut this spring in Lucky Guy, a new play by Nora Ephron, the late writer-director of two of his biggest box office hits (Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail). And this is no one-man vanity project, as you can see from this exclusive first photo from the production, which begins previews March 1 before an official opening April 1 under the direction of two-time Tony winner George C. Wolfe.

In a way, it is incumbent upon Private Practice‘s Charlotte to keep the circle of life going by giving birth to her triplets just as the ABC drama concludes its run with, as has been announced, the 13th episode of this season. But now that there’s a “hard stop” in place, will she deliver in time or be left to gestate in perpetuity?
TVLine spoke with KaDee Strickland about Charlotte’s amusingly ironic and increasingly expectant state, the other brand of high drama kicking off with this Tuesday’s episode (airing at 10/9c) and her feelings on Seaside Wellness and St.

A television series reaches middle age around its fifth or sixth season and it rests on the shoulders of the production team whether or not to get rejuvenated or quietly enter the complacency of old age, leading to a far swifter demise. Thankfully, Hart Hanson and the crew of Bones used last season as a chance to shake up the status quo in numerous ways resulting in a reset of sorts when the seventh season begins November 3. Meantime, Bones: The Complete Sixth Season was recently released by 20th Century Home Entertainment and is once more a handsome package.

Bones Killer in Body of Proof
A rather infamous Bones killer will be making a couple guest appearances on ABC’s Body of Proof, but the new role is quite domestic in comparison. The series has just entered its second season, which means all the groundwork has been set; time to delve deeper in to these characters’ home lives, really get to understand who they are and what, if any, external motivations they may have.
Case in point, as TVLine reports, Deirdre Lovejoy Aka The Gravedigger from Bones has been cast as the “exhausted and a bit grouchy wife” of Det. Bud Morris (John Carroll Lynch). We’ve seen Bud and his wife’s marriage crumbling apart, but until now we’ve only seen Bud’s reaction to it. All the hype threatened to raise expectations unfairly high, but Bones delivered with an intense, compelling episode Thursday night, the first installment of its sniper story arc.
I loved the symmetry of "The Bullet in the Brain." The introduction of a new, murderous foil for Booth dovetailed with the end of the Gravedigger, who went out in epic fashion.
