Matt Maiellaro is an American filmmaker, musician and voice actor best known for his work with Adult Swim. After starting out as a production assistant on films like
Sam Raimi's
Darkman (1990), he joined Cartoon Network's Williams Street in 1994, where he became a writer on the network's talk show spoof
Space Ghost Coast to Coast (1993). Maiellaro would later go on to co-create the animated TV series
Aqua Teen Hunger Force (2000) in 2000 for the then-new Adult Swim block alongside fellow Space Ghost writer
Dave Willis, with the two, also collaborating on its feature film adaptation
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters (2007). His other work includes creating the series
12 oz. Mouse (2005) (in which he also voices main protagonist Mouse Fitzgerald) and writing for
Sealab 2021 (2000),
The Brak Show (2000), and
Perfect Hair Forever (2004).
