- He is the only actor to appear in Superman (1978), Superman II (1980), Superman III (1983), Supergirl (1984) and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987).
- Appeared as "Dave McFly" in Back to the Future Part II (1989), but his part was cut from the final release and left on the cutting room floor. He was in a scene where Marty encounters his drunken brother in front of Biff's Pleasure Paradise in the alternate 1985.
