Two Florida medical examiners may have mishandled the autopsy of a Florida mom whose 2010 death was declared a suicide but whose family believes was murdered, newly released findings of an oversight commission allege.
Since her death on Sept. 2, 2010. authorities have maintained that Michelle O’Connell, 24, fatally shot herself with the service weapon belonging to her police officer boyfriend. But her family alleges she was killed by her boyfriend, St. John’s County sheriff’s deputy Jeremy Banks, to escape Banks’ alleged abuse. (Authorities have dismissed allegations against Banks, citing lack of probable cause. Through his attorney, Banks has denied involvement...

The appearance marks the first time Dmx (né Earl Simmons) has been seen in public since reportedly suffering a drug overdose on Monday. According to the New York Post's Page Six, the "X Gon Give It to Ya" musician was under the influence of a substance when he collapsed in Yonkers, New York. Due to Hipaa laws,...

Dmx reportedly nearly died of a drug overdose Monday night. According to a source of the New York Post's Page Six, the rapper, 45, took a substance and collapsed in Yonkers, New York. In accordance with Hipaa laws, police would not confirm the patient's identity. But Lieutenant Patrick McCormack tells People officers responded to a 911 call around 6:22 p.m. Monday at a Ramada Inn, where a 45-year-old male Mount Kisco resident was found unconscious and unresponsive, with no pulse and no respiration. (Dmx, né Earl Simmons, is 45 and is reported to have lived in Mount Kisco, New York.) Per McCormack,...

The latest film from Edward Burns focuses on a couple, Buzzy and Katie (Burns and Caitlin Fitzgerald), who receive an unexpected visit from Buzzy’s sister Linda (Kerry Bishe). The fight-less chemistry of the two newlyweds is tested by Linda’s reckless behavior. At the same time, Buzzy and Katie witness the crumbling marriage of their two friends, played by Marsha Dietlein and Max Baker.
Shot for $9,000 and with a small group of filmmakers Burns defines as a “rock band,” Newlyweds is the tenth movie he has directed.
I sat down with Edward Burns for an exclusive interview in which we discussed my favorite David Lynch quote, his best cinematic experience, and the wise words about niche marketing that he received from none other than Tyler Perry.
Newlyweds is now available on video on demand (VOD), and also with Amazon and iTunes.

Bluewater Productions has announced the release of special edition graphic novels from its Fame series.
The biographical comic books featuring Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and the Cast of Glee will be repackaged with additional artwork, story content and new covers to expand each edition to nearly 40 pages.
They will be distributed mainly to bookshops and also to Walmart, which has already committed to offering the Bieber title in its stores.
"Each of these titles sold out during their initial release, but now we are nearly doubling the size of the book and giving fans and collectors more of what they want," said publisher Darren G. Davis.
Fame: Justin Bieber (Special Edition) comes out in March, Fame: Cast of Glee (Special Edition) is released in April, Fame: Taylor Swift (Special Edition) in May and Fame: Lady Gaga (Special Edition) in June.
The Fame series allows Bluewater to delve into celebrity culture.

Attention, Gleeks: this one's for you!
According to Bluewater Productions, their recently released unauthorized biographies of the "Glee" cast, Justin Bieber, and Taylor Swift will all be receiving a "Special Edition" makeover and re-release that nearly doubles the size of the original comics with new art and other original content. While I'm not sure how many of our regular readers will be running to the store for the Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber comics (or at the very least, admitting that they're on your pull list), we're pretty sure there are a few fellow Gleeks out there interested in the new "Fame: The Cast Of Glee - Special Edition" comic.
To that end, Bluewater has provided Splash Page readers with the first, exclusive peek at the cover to the Special Edition "The Cast Of Glee" comic, as well as the text of their upcoming announcement regarding the books. Read on...
