Age is but a number, especially when it comes to romance. Derrick Gordon, a basketball player at the University of Massachusetts athlete who upon coming out last month became the first openly gay Ncaa Divison I athlete, is dating actor Gerald McCullouch, who is 25 years his senior. The couple were all smiles attending the 2014 GLAAD Awards over the weekend, with Gordon looking smart in a white tuxedo jacket and McCullouch skipping his jacket altogether on the red carpet. So, how did these two fellows meet? McCullouch, 47, tells E! News that they first connected via Twitter a few years ago after Gordon saw McCullouch in the indie film BearCity, about a tight-knit pack of gay friends navigating life...

Gordon -- who only went public about his sexuality last month -- was honored at the event ... and afterward wrote,...

“Most gay men have the emotional maturity of adolescent girls,” states one character from writer-director Rob Williams’ Role/Play, a so-called romantic comedy featured at this year’s Image+Nation film festival. While the audience laughs in recognition of the stereotype that inspires such a line, a similar statement can be made of gay-themed movies, particularly those classified as “romcoms.” I don’t wish to imply that Role/Play and Douglas Langway’s BearCity, another American “You’ll Laugh! You’ll Cry! You’ll See Tons of Male Flesh!” effort, are representative of what the festival had to offer. Rather, I would argue that they are emblematic of the audience’s low standards when faced with the festival’s lighter fare. In the case of both films,...

Celebs can't always be as glamorous and flawless as they seem. They sometimes also end up being the center of attention after unwittingly caught in the middle of embarrassing situations. Unfortunately, when stars are making any kind of mishaps, snappers are mostly nearby to capture the moments.
Listed below are those who were left red faced this year when something went wrong with their outfits during public outing or when they were entangled in unlucky situations and caught on cameras. "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus, for example, made a scandalous outing by not wearing bra underneath her revealing T-shirt. Lady GaGa also made it to the list after taking a stumble, thanks to her massive platform shoes.

Let's face it: it can be tough to be the kind of gay guy who is attracted more to meatier, hairier men in a world where lean, rippled abs and waxed backs and chests are seen as the physical ideal.
In response, a whole community has built up around these men and those who share their interest: the bear community. And it sometimes must feel like they're living in a completely different place than the rest of the Glbt community — like they're living on a different planet, or at least, well, in a different city.
A new movie, Bear City (out on DVD next month), takes bears and non-bears alike into that city.
And like The Boys in the Band (one of the first movies about openly gay men) and the 1978 French-Italian film La Cage Aux Folles (one of the first popular movies about drag queens), the hopes and dreams of many,...

Talking bisexual vampires with Charlaine Harris, Dark Knight 3 gets a date, Secretary Gates oversteps, Gargamel stalks the East Village, and Heather makes me Glee-ful.
Bill Condon took to Facebook to try and win over the Twilight fans to the idea of him directing Breaking Dawn. I’m probably not going to be able to keep myself from mocking the entire Twilight phenomenon relentlessly now that we have a reason to cover it. And indeed, if one of his biggest justifications on why he’ll treat it right is that “a corner of my office is starting to look like Hot Topic” I think western civilization is doomed.
Alec Baldwin told the press at Nerd Prom (White House Correspondents Dinner) that he was going to host the season finale of Saturday Night Live. I’m trying to remember his other hosting gigs and I can’t, which is probably a bad sign.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" star Gerald McCullouch has been court-ordered to undergo counseling after New York City police caught him urinating in public last week. McCullouch left Manhattan nightspot Amnesia with his actor pal Keith Collins, but admits he was too inebriated to hold in a full bladder on the way home.
He tells the New York Daily News, "I'd had a little to drink. So, as I was coming down the West Side Highway, I asked my cab driver to pull over so I could relieve myself. Suddenly I was surrounded by three cop cars. I said, 'Officer, at least let me finish!' " Laughing off the incident, he adds, "But I actually learned something from the hour-long quality-of-life counseling the judge sentenced me to. Education is better than a fine."

He was charged with robbery, assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon and is due in court on 23 March.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gerald McCullouch has survived a knife attack on a New York subway. The actor, who plays investigator Bobby Dawson, has revealed that he was recently travelling on a subway at around 2am when he was threatened by a man who attempted to steal his laptop. Speaking to the New York Daily News, McCullouch said: "I guess he thought he’d grab it and dash out the door, but I gave him a body shot to the chest. I don’t know why I did that except that I box three or four days a week and had just been in the ring about eight hours before. "[Then] he pulled a kitchen (more)...

Former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star Gerald McCullouch found himself at the centre of a real life crime recently when he was attacked on the New York subway.
The actor was using his laptop on a train when a man attempted to grab the computer and run for the door.
McCullouch, a keen boxer, punched his assailant in the chest before the man allegedly turned on him, wielding a knife.
And the star admits he had a lucky escape when a team of police eventually came to his rescue.
He tells the New York Daily News, "It was about 2am. I noticed someone cross in front of me. Just as the doors opened, he reached for the laptop. I guess he thought he'd grab it and dash out the door, but I gave him a body shot to the chest.
"That's when he pulled a kitchen knife out of a black plastic bag. The other passengers started running out the door. That's when the knife came down into my back. I don't know whether he lost his grip or what, but the blade didn't penetrate my leather jacket.
"I think I punched him again as the doors closed and the train started leaving the station. I thought, 'Great, now I'm alone in this car with him.'
"The train was halfway out of the station when it stopped. Then about 10 cops jumped on the train and got the guy handcuffed on the floor. I told them the guy had a knife. They found it hidden under a seat or something."
And McCullouch is full of praise for the officers who helped him.
He adds, "The police couldn't have been greater. I signed a lot of autographs. I don't know whether it was because of CSI, but they gave me a lift to my place in Manhattan."
