Lenny Mesina is an award-winning film, commercial and music video editor whose collaborations with diverse groups of filmmakers, fine artists, athletes, rock stars and rappers has led to editing an eclectic mix of projects over the course of his career.
After a start in music videos and commercials, Lenny found a passion editing documentaries on subjects he was already passionate about - beginning with the street art film Beautiful Losers; the Sundance Film Festival hip-hop breakout Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest; and the sports feature MANNY on Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, which spoke to Lenny's Filipino-American heritage. Lenny has also edited documentary television episodes of Dave Grohl and the Foo-Fghter's Emmy Award-winning HBO series Sonic Highways and the Emmy-nominated basketball related shows Shut Up and Dribble and most recently SHAQ.
In addition to Lenny's film work, his credits include: VFX scenes for Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp; TV episodes for HBO, Netflix, Showtime, and Vice; commercials for brands Apple, Barbie, Beats by Dre, BMW, CHANEL, Google, and Nike; and music videos for Adele, Billie Eilish, Blink 182, Common, Green Day, and 30 Seconds to Mars; as well as installations for MOCA's "Art in the Streets", Nike's Beijing Olympics launch, and IBM's Centennial "THINK" exhibit at the Lincoln Center.
Originally from Manhattan, New York, Lenny attended San Francisco's Academy of Art University and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
