We horror fans are a highly opinionated bunch. But when you make your career and reputation around the genre – both in music and film – it’s even more elevated. Take Rob Zombie, who has never been one to shy away from his opinions on horror cinema both brilliant and whatever Gus Van Sant was trying to pull with Psycho. Mr. Robert Zombie is certainly no stranger to directing crap of his own, but he definitely has some choice words for some flicks that he thinks can (thunder) kiss off.
Ranking at #1 for Rob Zombie is Dracula 2000, particularly calling out Gerard Butler…even if he can’t remember his name. “This may be the worst movie ever committed to film. I found every single thing about it to be offensive, from top to bottom. You just stare at it in shock…Dracula is a tough character to play, you’ve...

Sarah Parish, who played Anna Rampton in the original comedy series W1A, has revealed on That Gaby Roslin Podcast that a spin-off show based on the FIFA international football association. was in the works. She also revealed that W1A co-star Hugh Bonneville would be reprising his role.
Though Parish said the show was being written according to the British Comedy Guide, she said she would not be in it, but that she suspected Hynes would return. San Francisco’s Jeffrey’s Toys, the city’s oldest toy store and the inspiration for the Toy Story franchise, is permanently closing.
Jeffrey’s Toys said Friday it will be closing at the end of February. The city’s crime and violence was cited as a significant factor in the decision to shutter the 86-year-old business.
“The store has been struggling for a number of years, due to the perils and violence of the downtown environment, inflation, the decrease in consumer spending and the demise of retail across the world,” attorney Ken Sterling told the San Francisco Chronicle.
“The family is saddened it has come to this and we’ve explored all other options to try and keep the business going,” Sterling said.

The previous episode of Billy The Kid ended with John Tunstall’s death, followed by a celebration in the town of Lincoln. Though Murphy and Riley rejoiced at the death, Edgar Walz was worried about Billy being alive. His fear was justifiable because Billy had sworn to avenge Tunstall’s death. Billy killed Morton and Baker in retaliation for their role in Tunstall’s death. The Lincoln War intensified after a major death, and the warring groups had to come up with a strong plan to maintain their grip over the town.

Since stepping down from her role as a working royal and moving back to her home state of California, Meghan Markle has rubbed elbows with a number of high-profile celebrities. However, one broadcaster believes this isn’t what Meghan wanted and claims that her life’s ambition was to be the next Princess Diana.
Here’s more on that and why the duchess’s biographer and former maid of honor are saying the same thing.

Prince William and Prince Harry aren’t the royals who have been at odds. Queen Elizabeth II and her son, King Charles III, once had a rift spanning years regarding Queen Camilla. Ahead, how the “rift” ultimately ended and what left the late monarch in giggles on Charles and Camilla’s wedding day.
The queen didn’t like how King Charles and Queen Camilla’s affair damaged the monarchy
For decades before saying their I do’s, King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, had an affair. It was this relationship, per royal biographer Andrew Morton, that didn’t sit well with Queen Elizabeth.

New York, Aug 31 (Ians) Adding zinc to farmland soil can help prevent childhood stunting, according to a study on children in India, where more than a third under five suffer from stunting. Stunting is a condition due to chronic undernutrition that is associated with poor brain development and long-lasting harmful consequences, such as reduced school performance and increased disease risks.
For the study, researchers from the Stanford University in the US analysed health data from nearly 300,000 children and one million women across India with over 27 million soil tests drawn from a nationwide soil health programme.
The findings, published in the journal Scientific Reports, showed that the presence of zinc in soil helps prevent stunted childhood growth, and iron in soil helps keep haemoglobin — a protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen — at healthy levels.
The results suggest that fortifying soil with minerals could be a beneficial health intervention.

The R&b field is one of my favorites every year at the Grammys. More often than not the winners tend to reflect passionate choices, regardless of chart positions or name recognition, truly awarding the best of the R&b world. Let’s take a look at the album categories this year, and who’s out front for the awards.
SEEHow hard is it to complete your Egot with a Grammy? Best R&b Album
It seems like Mary J. Blige will take home her 10th Grammy — and her third for an album — with her record “Good Morning Gorgeous (Deluxe).” This year marks one of Blige’s biggest Grammy nomination hauls: she earned six including across-the-board R&b bids, as well as Album of the Year. “Good Morning Gorgeous” was also a big return for Blige, aided by her acclaimed Super Bowl slot, for which she won an Emmy a few months ago.

First launched by Jamie Morton, Alice Levine and James Cooper in 2015, My Dad Wrote a Porno began its life when Morton discovered that his retired father, under the pen name Rocky Flintstone, had been secretly writing a series of adult novels entitled Belinda Blinked that focused on the sexual adventures of a 30-something woman called Belinda Blumenthal as she climbed her way up the exotic world of the pots and pans industry. Amid allegations that “The Crown” Season 5 is “exploitative” of the royal family, Princess Diana biographer Andrew Morton stands by the conspiracy theories presented in the tense season, which shows the divorce of Diana and then-Prince Charles.
“The Crown’ shows the sense of unnamed and anonymous watchers and it’s absolutely true,” Morton told The Daily Beast. “There is no need for [creator] Peter Morgan to make anything up.”
In fact, the series is so accurate that Morton found Elizabeth Debicki, who plays the ill-fated Princess Diana, to be “unnerving.?
“I was blown away by how authentic Elizabeth Debicki was in her portrayal of Diana,” Morton, who wrote the biography “Diana: Her True Story,” said. “It was like being back in the room with her 30 years ago. It was unnerving. It was like being with a ghost. It spoke to me very clearly.”

Royal biographer Andrew Morton has praised Elizabeth Debicki’s performance as Princess Diana in The Crown season five.
The Netflix series returned on Wednesday (9 November) with a new season and a new cast.
You can follow updates from The Independent’s live blog here.
Princess Diana, who was first introduced in season four played by Emma Corrin, is now being portrayed by Australian actor Debicki.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday (9 November), writer Morton, who worked with Diana on his 1992 book Diana: Her True Story, said that Debicki reminded him of the royal he had known.
“I don’t say this slightly but that performance really conveys the Diana I got to know for a couple of years in the early 1990s,” he said.
“I was struck just watching the episode about how the paper I typed the book on was the same paper, the typeface was the same.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Tales of the Walking Dead Season 1, Episode 3, “Dee.”] Wait, didn’t we already do this? On multiple levels, “Dee” feels like a repeat for the zombie franchise. We’d been on a mysterious boat in Fear the Walking Dead’s second season, and we’d already explored Alpha’s (Samantha Morton) history in Season 9’s “Omega” and Season 10’s “We are the End of the World.” Unfortunately, that leaves this episode of Tales in the position of needing to justify its existence… and while Morton is excellent as ever, it’s hard to cobble together why the show went with this particular story for her. Curtis Bonds Baker/AMC To be honest, save for the final few minutes, most of the episode doesn’t seem written for the “Alpha” character. Almost any mother-daughter duo could’ve been slotted into the main roles. But as it is, sometime after Dee kills...

The Walking Dead universe can be a daunting one, and not just because of the endless hordes of flesh-eating zombies. Over a decade in, the franchise spans nearly 300 episodes of television spread out across three different series, with still more spinoffs on the way. It’s enough to test the mettle of the most diehard fans, to say nothing of more casual ones who’d rather dip in from time to time, or former viewers who’ve long since lost track of the series. (I fall into the latter category.)
In that light, Tales of the Walking Dead promises a refreshing change of pace, serving up bite-size, standalone tales of less than an hour each, with very little prior knowledge of the Walking Dead shows required. But even without seasons of narrative baggage, most of its tales remain too mired in the same...

The upcoming Walking Dead spin-off Tales of the Walking Dead is an anthology series, which means that each of the first season’s six episodes will center on different characters that may or may not make appearances in other episodes throughout the season. Because each episode is primarily a self-contained story, actors who may not have the time to commit to a full season arc are able to join this universe. This means that Tales of the Walking Dead has a stacked cast with many familiar faces – some are newcomers to the franchise and others are Walking Dead alums.

“Tales of the Walking Dead” offers a mixed bag of standalone stories, but a talented cast and a few wild storytelling experiments don’t quite manage to breathe new life into the franchise. The six-episode anthology series, premiering August 14, is the third series to spin off from “The Walking Dead,” after “Fear the Walking Dead,” which recently wrapped its seventh season, and “Walking Dead: World Beyond,” a two-season series that concluded last year.
Where this show differs from its predecessors is in the scope of its storytelling: while occasional nods to the larger universe are present throughout all six of these self-contained stories, no previous knowledge of the universe is strictly necessary, and each story is small enough to resolve fully within the 45 minutes allotted. It would be an unorthodox introduction to the franchise, but it would work.

Starz has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming historical drama “The Serpent Queen” starring Samantha Morton as Catherine de Medici. The wicked new drama series will premiere on Sunday, September 11th.
A historical drama with an edge, “The Serpent Queen” puts a contemporary spin on conventional storytelling to tell the tale of Catherine de Medici’s (Morton) rise to power. In the series premiere, “Medici Bitch,” Catherine’s tale unfolds through flashbacks as she defends her actions and imparts the lessons she’s learned to her new servant confident, Rahima. At 14, the young, orphaned Catherine marries into the 16th-century French court. Despite her commoner status, her uncle Pope Clement, has negotiated a large dowry and a geopolitical alliance in return for the union, and with it comes the expectation of many heirs. However, on her wedding night, Catherine learns that her new husband is in love with Diane de Poitiers,...
