- Three sons: Dominic Joseph (1970) from his second marriage; Thomas Maxwell (1986) and Gardiner Belding (1990) from his third.
- Nardini's father worked as an aircraft worker after having a career as a jazz musician and his mother worked in vaudeville as a comedian, dancer, and singer.
- Nardini was in the Air Force reserve in 1966, based in Riverside, California.
- Son of Joseph Oscar Nardini (1914-2008) and Mary Josephine "Chi Che" Mole (1914-1991).
- Signed a seven-year contract with Columbia, beginning with his role in Cat Ballou.
- Tom was starring in the Los Angeles Youth Theater's production of ,"The Fantasticks," then playing at the "Le Grande" theater in Hollywood when he was discovered and cast in Cat Ballou. He played Matt, the boy, in that production and has a great singing voice.
- Attended El Camino Junior College in Torrance, where he studied theater and joined a Shakespearean group.
