Lived on a billboard overlooking the famous Sunset Strip in West
Hollywood, California, as part of an international publicity stunt. He
lived on the "Winkie" Billboard for 179 days or 6 months (from December
4, 1984, to June 6, 1985). Jeffrey had a write-up in the
Capitol (1982) with
casting director
Jan Glaser in front of a live audience on
Good Morning America (1975) and
Entertainment Tonight (1981). He was one of the first
"Survivors" as he was interviewed by more than 20 different countries
including Israel and Japan.
