A Walmart spokesperson, in response to a query Deadline the company didn’t “have anything to share right now.”

Lena Dunham had a very specific fashion dream, and she wasn’t going to let a little thing like logistics stand in her way.
The star’s had her fair share of risky red carpet fashion and beauty moments – from a magenta smoky eye at the Girls premiere to a talked-about black mini dress and red shawl at the Human Rights Campaign Gala. But the Not That Kind of Girl author, who’s openly refused to let haters who shame her style affect her fashion choices, hasn’t had her favorite fashion moment until now.

The Nanny may have run from 1993 to 1999, but its legacy will be with us for a lifetime. The show gave us one of the all-time great television theme songs, a classic will they/won’t they relationship between Mr. Sheffield (played by Charles Shaughnessy) and Nanny Fine (Fran Drescher) and, of course, some of the most memorable fashion ever seen on network TV. But that fashion didn’t get its true due until one woman, Shanae Brown, started up the Instagram account “What Fran Wore,” which is both fascinating (and amazingly accurate, considering the show ended nearly 20 years ago) and deeply hilarious.

And … good night! This is, sad to say, the very last post of Seen, the limited-run art site we launched November 17, with Jerry Saltz’s essay on the art world’s new conservatism. It closes today with his conversation with Matthew Weinstein about “Gaga’s law” and how art culture has eaten pop culture (which Lady Gaga actually retweeted — approvingly!). Along the way, we had a total blast, and before we turn the lights off for good, we thought we’d highlight a bunch of our favorite stuff from our 33 days in the art world ... There were fantastic slideshows of art, from a show curated by Eric Fischl about America’s doll obsession to Todd Oldham’s outsider art collection to Oliver Wasow's found-object art of people standing next to televisions. And even a slideshow of tattoos of art. We had fantastic video, including an exclusive clip Kara Walker secretly...

It’s baaack! If there was any doubt that the 90s were taking over the summer (see: overalls, scrunchies, denim-on-denim), the announcement that MTV’s House of Style is back — with the breakout star of this season, natch — totally proves the point. The game-changing fashion news program originally hosted by Cindy Crawford, Rebecca Romijn and Molly Sims in the ‘90s highlighted the unique relationship between style and music and featured a regular segment with Todd Oldham, and appearances by Madonna and Anna Wintour. Dan Wechsler’s vision as he chronicles the life of street photographer Matt Weber, is truly mesmerizing, as the film More Than The Rainbow brings an innate sense of realism to Matt’s life, and the streets of the city where his life and compassion for art combine – New York City.
Going from being a cabbie for 12 years on the streets of New York, this film shares how Weber’s love of photography evolved from the quick snaps out of his taxi cab window, to the full time street photographer he is today.
Along for the ride of telling not only Matt’s story – but sharing their own – are numerous fellow photo journalists, who know where Matt’s passion and realism comes from, as they too, make a living doing what they love – taking images of “their world” – sharing their own lives, passions and personalities along the way.

Channing Tatum has always been one sexy specimen! Out just shared a pretty amazing photo spread he did for the gay lifestyle mag from 2002, before he was famous. Sporting no shirt and a pair of short shorts, the then-22-year-old model is seen wrestling with another guy ... who's wearing nothing more than a tank top and tighty whities. The spread was for the publication's Valentine's Day issue and was shot by photographer/designer Todd Oldham. Before his breakout role in "Step Up," Tatum modeled for brands like Abercrombie & Fitch and Armani -- so shoots like this weren't out of the ordinary for the aspiring actor. And before this, he was an exotic dancer, an experience that inspired "Magic Mike.""I never enjoyed the taking-the-clothes-off part," he later told Out about his days as a stripper."You are on a stage with people yelling at you, and you feel you’re a rock star,...

Oh. My. God!!! In honor of throwback Thursday, Out magazine resurfaced one of their magazine covers from February 2002 that featured an unknown Channing Tatum, who at the time was working as a male model before he became a household name. For the steamy cover, which was a Valentine's Day issue shot by Todd Oldham, a shirtless Tatum wrestles a dark-haired male model as the two hunks stare into the camera. Under them reads the caption, "Romance! Out photographer Todd Oldham offers sizzling Valentine's Day twosomes and threesomes." Sizzling is right! In an inside photo spread, a sweaty Tatum wears only denim short shorts while climbing on top of the other model, who's only wearing underwear...

Do you think Albert and David Maysles knew they were creating not just a documentary but launching cultural icons when they filmed the mesmerizing “Grey Gardens,” now available in a Criterion Blu-ray edition? The film about “Little Edie” and “Big Edie,” relatives of American royalty in Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, became a cult phenomenon, inspiring a follow-up (which is included in this release), an award-winning fictionalized version of their story with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange, and even a full-length musical.

Meet Big and Little Edie Beale: mother and daughter, high-society dropouts, and reclusive cousins of Jackie Onassis, in the 1976 documentary Grey Gardens.
The two “Edie Gals” manage to thrive together amid the decay and disorder of their East Hampton, New York, mansion, making for an eerily ramshackle echo of the American Camelot.
A remarkably intimate portrait, this movie by Albert and David Maysles (Salesman)—co-directed by Ellen Hovde and Muffie Meyer—quickly became a cult classic and established Little Edie as a fashion icon and philosopher queen.

Designer Todd Oldham was always a big fan of the Sundance Film Festival. But he felt that the design of the merchandise never quite matched the courage and iconoclasm of the rest of the festival. The documentary "Beauty is Embarrassing," which profiles designer, painter, puppeteer, sculptor and musician Wayne White, will open this fall in select markets. The film, from first-time director Neil Berkeley, had its premiere at SXSW in March and has since gone on to play at a number of festivals, including Full Frame, Hot Docs, Silverdocs and L.A. Berkeley retraces White's steps from childhood to present day, covering a prolific career that included a stint as a puppeteer and voice-over actor on "Pee-Wee's Playhouse," for which he won three Emmys. In addition to featuring White, Berkeley interviews Matt Groening, Mark Mothersbaugh, Todd Oldham, Mimi Pond and Paul Reubens for the documentary. The film will open September 7 in New York at the IFC Center, in Los Angeles at the Sundance Cinemas Sunset (formerly the Sunset 5), and in Seattle at the Northwest Film Forum. Bring on the revivals: There's another fashion series in the works, and it looks familiar.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV is bringing back "House Of Style," which originally aired from 1989 to 1999.
“'House of Style' is deeply rooted in celebrating and drawing energy from our audience's mix-and-match love of fashion, music and pop culture,” Dave Sirulnick, executive vice president of MTV News and Docs, said in a statement. “In bringing back 'House of Style,' we're once again looking to spotlight the spirit, personality and sometimes humor of the most interesting people in fashion who personify the energy of style in 2012."
The original "House Of Style" zeroed in on the work of designers like Todd Oldham and John Galliano and chronicled the rise of models Cindy Crawford, Rebecca Romijn and Molly Simms.
The "House Of Style" reboot isn't the only change headed to the world of TV style shows this fall.

From the characters on "Pee-wee's Playhouse" to the imagery in videos for Peter Gabriel and The Smashing Pumpkins, Wayne White may be the most-followed career that you didn't know you were following.
These days, his hilarious and subversive paintings have launched an entirely new side to his career. In Toronto to promote the documentary about his artwork and fascinating life -- "Beauty Is Embarrassing" -- Moviefone caught up with White to talk about his incredible past. Director Neil Berkeley was also on-hand to discuss why the world has finally caught on to his genius.
Wayne White wears a lot of hats -- cartoonist, painter, puppeteer -- so what part of his career did you choose to latch onto?
Neil Berkeley: The "Pee-wee" thing is really what kicked it off for me. I had seen every episode and grew up on that show ["Pee-wee's Playhouse"]. Everything he had done was directed at me and my friends.

There’s truly no place quite like Hollywood. For the third straight year, the TCM Classic Film Festival was staged in the historic center of the world’s film industry. The event once again united a great community of film fans. The 2012 event celebrated style in the movies, from fashion to architecture and everything in between and lined up great films, terrific guests and many special events.
There were so many classic films to choose from over the 4-day festival, it was nearly impossible to decide what to see! Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend.
Auntie Mame (1958) .
Fantastically restored, and screened at the legendary Egyptian Theater, this Rosalind Russell classic was easily a fan fave at the festival. Even at 9am on a Saturday morning, the house was packed. It’s the time again, my friends. When I go through Hulu’s Criterion page and give you what’s new, what’s exciting and what might be a hint at a future release within the collection. There’s even a ton of new supplemental material from various films that are worth getting into. If you like this series of article, please sign up for your own Hulu Plus account. Every little bit counts and is much appreciated.
Let’s just get right to it then. Remember, all the links will be included with each listing. We make it as easy as possible for all of you. First up is a film that isn’t in the collection but I can easily see it being welcomed with open arms.
La Cérémonie (1995), a Claude Chabrol film, is about Catherine (Jacqueline Bisset) who hires a new maid by the name of Sophie (Sandrine Bonnaire), an illiterate woman.

She may not know it, but designers are totally knocking off K-Stew’s look from The Runaways!
Kristen Stewart, 20, is officially a fashion muse! Yesterday in New York City, designer Gary Graham presented a collection that was clearly inspired by Kristen’s Joan Jett look in The Runaways! The models wore jet-black wigs hacked into mullet haircuts, safety-pin necklaces, vintage tees and Converse Chucks for a punk, cool-street-girl look—just like Kristen!
“Todd Oldham wrote a book about Joan Jett,” said the designer at his presentation. “It was about making your own things and learning how to take things and change them.” Just like Kristen’s punked-out look in The Runaways! And from the looks of some of the candid shots we’ve seen of Kristen, this look seems pretty close to her personal style, too! We love it! So was this designer capitalizing on this hot actress’s heat by stealing her style?...

Apparently, if there is one thing that Hulu likes more than putting Criterion releases on their online streaming outlet, it’s taking the best documentaries from the collection in particular.
Just a week or so after the release of the Les Blank directed Fitzcarraldo documentary, Burden Of Dreams, onto their website, they have picked up not one, but two stunning films, in the form of both Grey Gardens and The Beales Of Grey Gardens.
Both films look at the lives of aunt and cousin to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, “Big” Edie and “Little” Edie Beale. The pair of films are also helmed by the fantastic duo of Albert and David Maysles, and also gives a deep look into the world that was Grey Gardens. “Big” and “Little” Edie had a relationship that could be at some points loving, and at others completely full of anger, all while living in a horribly...

Joan Jett defines awesome. There’s no other way to describe it.
A true pioneer in the music industry, Joan has been in the music scene for 35 years and is one of the most recognizable, and biggest selling female artists in the history of rock. Her seminal hit “I Love Rock N Roll” is one of Billboard Magazine’s highest charting singles ever and at age 50, still sells out shows worldwide...
Joan is also an accomplished actress on screen, most notably getting rave reviews for the 1986 film Light Of Day and most recently appearing in a cameo in Repo! The Genetic Opera. However, for her first role behind the camera, she watched a pivotal time in her early career come alive again before her eyes.

In an ideal world, everyone will come to HBO’s new feature film Grey Gardens, starring Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange, having already seen the landmark 1975 documentary of the same name. But even if this is your first exposure to Edith Bouvier Beale and her daughter “Little” Edie, you’ll come away besotted with the tragicomic tale of these two roses of American aristocracy who withered on the vine. (And then you’ll run out and immediately rent the doc.)
The film begins in 1975, with Edith (Lange) and Edie (Barrymore) sitting in their moldering East Hamptons manse Grey Gardens, watching an early cut of the documentary by Albert (Arye Gross) and David Maysles (Justin Louis) that would make them legends. Cut to 1936, when 18-year-old Edie is having cold feet on the night on her debutante ball at the Pierre Hotel in New York City.

The Sex and the City foursome created a fashion and film sensation on the pink carpet outside New York's Radio City Music Hall for the U.S. premiere of their movie Tuesday night. "The best part about making the movie was being back with the women on the set all day every day, and the best part about tonight is being here ... with the fans," Sarah Jessica Parker said as the crowds squealed and waved around her. Parker wore a glamorous Nina Ricci gown, complemented with dazzling Fred Leighton jewels, as did Kristin Davis, who donned Donna Karan and 19th Century diamonds.
