Attended Oberlin College where she earned a B.A. degree in 1983. Then
she moved to New York City, where she worked as an associate editor at
"Esquire," later acquiring senior editing positions at "Manhattan,
Inc." and "7 Days." In 1988, she became managing editor of "Mother
Jones" in San Francisco. In 1991 Peggy began working as a writer and
producer at Farallon Films.
