- Jeffrey "Scott" Pearson started his career in the music industry in the early 1980s playing in several popular regional bands. He studied music at Lewisham Academy in London in the mid 1980s and returned to the United States to earn a BA in Communications from North Carolina State University. After some success with live bands, including a brief UK tour with the pop group Jesus Jones, he turned his attention to studio work in the early 1990s where he made his mark writing national jingles and television music. He was the staff composer for Horizon Film & Video Productions for seven years, breaking into feature film work with "Unshackled" (Stacy Keach, Morgan Fairchild) in 2000. Since then, Scott has scored over 150 programs for the Discovery Channel, PBS and National Geographic. He and writing partner David Imhof have the dubious distinction of scoring the first four seasons of TLC's notorious "Jon & Kate Plus Eight" then moved on to score "19 Kids & Counting". His specialty is documentary and reality series work, particularly medical and human drama, though he's also worked on shows featuring four footed friends on Animal Planet.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Bob Langford - Sinclair Broadcasting
